Chapter 17

Beatrice's POV

"WHAT?!" Chris and I exclaimed with shock.
"But nothing happened last night." I said.
"Well word says that you two like had sex or something." Alice said.
"We didn't, we just slept next to each other on my bed. Nothing else happened between us. Unless...." I said as I slowly looked at Chris.
"What? Why are you looking at me like that?" He asked.
"You didn't..... Do something to me. R-right?" I asked.
"What? Of course not, Gosh B, what would you think me of. You and your mom trusts me, I won't just throw those away for my own pleasure." He said with disbelief.
"But what if-" Alice got cut off.
"B, Alice, Chris may be the most decent guy I ever met in my life okay, he wouldn't do those things." Jake butted in.
"Chris I didn't remember sleeping on my bed, but when I woke up. I-I was on my bed." I said.
"Because I carried you there." He said.
"Guys, lets not argue about this with each other. What we need to find is the one who spread the issue." Alice said.

We began asking around people who might have an idea on who may know something until lunchtime ended. We headed back to our classrooms until the 4 of us recieved a slip that says that Sir Adam, the Discipline Office's head is calling us to come over to his office...

The four of us arrived in his office, he was sitting there on his chair and watching something on his computer. We knocked on the door and he told us to come in.

"I need to speak with the four of you." Sir Adam said.
"W-what is it about sir?" Alice asked.
"Are you aware of a certain issue that involves Mr. Chris Anderson and Beatrice Tan?" He said.
"Yes sir, but I assure you that nothing happened between us last night." I said.
"Well what does this video have to say?" He said as he faced the computer screen to us while the video played.

The video showed me telling Alice about last night.

"So the two of you slept on your bed?" Alice clarified
"Yeah, though I didn't remember sleeping in my bed tho." I said.

We continued talking until the person who took the video dropped the phone.

"Oh shit, they'll hear me!" The person whispered.

"I kind of recognize that voice." I said.
"Yeah, me too." Alice said.
"That kinda sounds like..." Jake added.
"SHIRLEY." Chris and I said in unison.
"But why would she-" Alice wondered.
"Its simple..." Jake said.
"What do you mean?" Sir Adam asked impatiently
"Well Shirley likes Chris, but since Beatrice and Chris are already together. Shirley got jealous and tried to split them apart by starting an issue between them." Jake said.
"My god, that's way out of line." I said with disbelief.
"Well now we know that Chris and Beatrice are innocent, and Shirley is the suspect, what do you want to do?" Sir Adam asked.
"Well sir, to be really sure for what Shirley's motives are. Lets not let anyone know about this for now." Chris said.

The rest of us talked about what to do next and Sir Adam sent us back to our classrooms.
