chapter 8

Beatrice's POV
Shirley seemed suspicious and interested about me saying that Chris is cute earlier but I just ignored it. When Alice came, I asked her on where she's been.

"Where have you been?" I asked.  "Oh just did something." She said. "Something? Okay then." I said as we walked to the classroom. "Hi maam." We said while entering the classroom. "Oh ,hi there Beatrice and Alice. Please take your seats, class is about to start." The teacher said. "Okay." We said then took our seats.

Lessons here and there, we were all listening carefully until its time for dismissal.

Ring!!ring!!! "All right class be sure to do your assignments. Dismissed." The teacher said. "Goodbye maam." We said then left.

Alice and I walked around the school until I bumped on someone and we both fell.

"Oh sorry." I said while closing my eyes. "Ugh, it's fine." He said.

His voice sounds so familiar. I opened my eyes and knew that I actually bumped onto Chris again.

"Chris! Oh I'm so sorry." I said as I stood up and helped him up. "Oh hi Beatrice, it's okay, are you okay?" He asked "y-yeah Im fine" I said until I saw him staring at me while I avoid his eyes. "You're hurt." He said. "What?" I asked. "You're hurt, I can see it in your eyes. Is it you leg, arm?" He asked panickedly. "No no no, Im fine Chris, its just a scratch." I said. "No! I am not letting you go like that, come on." He said while he held my hand. "W-where are we going?" I asked. "To the nurses office." He said. "What! Chris, I told you Im fine." I said. "No, Im not hearing another word from you until we get there." He said as we walked, still holding hands.

His hands are warm and comforting, I like it but do we really have to do this in public? Guess its my fault, I didnt see where I was going... we were walking to the nurses office until I saw Shirley walking past us, she seems to have seen me and Chris but she ignored it and we went in the nurses office

"Maam can you please check on Beatrice? We accidentally fell on the stairs." He said. "Its nothing really." I said. "Yes it is." He said. "Sure, Ill check on you two, please sit down." The nurse said as she check us.
(Timeskip)
"Well, nothings wrong anyway, just a scratch." The nurse said as she placed a band-aid on my knee. "Thank you maam." We both said. "Now will you two just sign here and be careful next time okay?" She said. "Okay, thank you." We said then left.

It was quiet on our way back, I was thinking if I should break up the silence or what until.

"Are you okay?" He asked. "Yeah." I said. "Heh, good thing." He said. "Ummm thanks." I said. "For what?" He asked. "For taking me to the nurses office, even by force hahaha." I said. "I was worried about you." He said. "Really, thanks." I said. "I hope your knee is getting better." He said until we stopped walking. "It is." I said as we stared at each others eyes for a while.

Our eyes met again in a small hallway, the other students seems to have returned to their classrooms already. It was quiet. Our faces got closer by not noticing it until our lips met. It was very comforting and warm like you can trust him forever and will never betray you. Our lips parted as we stared at each other again when he smiled and got near my ear.

"I love you Beatrice, will you accept me for who I am?" He asked.

That did it, I was extremely shocked at what he said. We are good friends and I cant say no to him.

"Yes." I said.

He looked happy and relieved at what I said. He smiled at me and hugged me.

"So I guess, its us now." I said. "Yes, and nothing will ever break us apart." He said as we hugged one last time and went back to our classrooms. "See you later." He said as he opened the door. "Yeah, see ya." I said then went inside.
