Chapter 19

Beatrice's POV
It has been 3 days since that "issue" came up and our plan has been going smoothly.

Jake, Alice, and I were absent for the day because we had something important to do.

"Are you sure this is her place?" I asked.
"Absolutely." Jake said.
"Shall we?" Alice asked.
"Remember, just find the evidence and that's all okay." I instructed.
"Yep." Jake and Alice said
"All right, lets do this." I said then we all went inside.

Chris's POV
"You love me?" I asked.
"Yes Chris, with all my life." She said.
"I-I don't...- no I'm sorry. I'm not ready." I said.
"I understand Chris, I'm here whenever you're ready." She said.
"Thanks Shirley.... But I have to ask you a question." I said.
"What is it?" She said.
"Please promise me that you'll be completely honest." I said.
"Promise." She answered back.
"Did you...spread the issue about Beatrice and I?" I asked.
"W-WHAT? HOW COULD YOU- W-why would you think that I would do such a thing?!" She asked.
"Shirley I'm just asking you a question. No need to be so defensive....Unless you are guilty of something." I said as I stood up and slowly walked towards her.
"W-what? I-I know nothing  Chris. I really know nothing." She said as she slowly walked backwards
"Oh don't you? Well what can you say about this?" I said as I showed her the video on my phone.
"What about that? Someone could easily edit my voice in that video. Someone's framing me Chris!" She said as she has been cornered by a wall.

Beatrice's POV
"Beatrice, I found her room." Jake said then we went inside.
"Check her computer." I said then Alice checked the computer.
"Guys, the video is here." Alice said.
"Okay, I'll call Chris to confirm it now." I said then called Chris.

Chris's POV
*Phone ringing*
"Hello?" I said.
"Chris, its positive. She uploaded the video." B said.
"Okay B, thanks." I said then hung up.

"Wait, B? But aren't the two of you-" Shirley said.
"So it is true.... You uploaded the video to start an issue in the school to break B and I apart." I said.
"What?! Chris, I told you I didn't do anything." She said.
"What kind of a person are you, you couldn't face the fact that B and I are together, so you tried to sabotage our relationship just for your own selfish desires." I said.
"Chris I-I-" she stuttered as tears rolled over her eyes.
"Don't.....just stop it. Its over Shirley, you can't escape your actions. I just hope that you can handle whatever karma's got for you." I said then left the weeping Shirley by the balcony.

It was already dismissal time. I passed by Sir Adam's office and found Shirley in another room.

"Sir, what are you going to do to her?" I asked.
"Well, she will be suspended for 2 weeks for her actions, and we will watch out for her." He said.
"Okay, thank you so much sir. I couldn't have done it without you." I said.
"No problem mr. Anderson." He said then we shook hands
"Oh sir, before I go, can I go talk to Shirley for a minute?" I asked.
"Sure, go ahead." He said

I went inside the room where Shirley was and closed the door behind me.

"Chris..." She said.

I said nothing.

"Chris, I'm so sorry for what I've done." She said looking down.
"Shirley I couldn't possibly forgive you immediately for your actions." I said.
"I know... But, I'm not asking for your forgiveness. Once this is over, I'd like you to give me another chance. Please." She pleaded.
"I'll think about it. But just tell me, why? Why did you have to go and do those things you did?" I asked.
"You said it yourself, because I love you Chris. Ever since I saw you I knew I had feelings for you. When I saw that you and Beatrice were together, Its just hurts seeing you two together." She said.

I said nothing.

"Heh, that's so stupid right? Hoping that I would have a chance to be with you. I'm so pathetic." She said as tears dripped from her eyes.
"Shirley..." I said then held her hand.
"Chris?" She said then looked at me.
"Shirley, Its okay to have feelings for someone. But you can't force someone to make them feel the same way as you." I said.

She said nothing.

"Its okay Shirley, because one day, there will be someone that you will meet and feel the same way you feel about him. Everything's gonna be alright." I said.
"Yeah, *sniffle* everything's gonna be alright." She said.
"That's the spirit." I said.
"I-I'd like to be alone for now Chris, i-if you mind." She said.
"Of course Shirley." I said then stood up.

"We can't be partners in life. But I'm willing to be your friend." I said then left.

Hey guyssss
Whewww the issue is over!! Shirley has been caught and the two lovebirds are once again in peace.
