Chapter 11

(Chris's POV)
I watched Beatrice go inside her house then  I started to walk on home. I was still flashing back to what happened earlier. I didn't know what I was thinking, it just sort of happened. I couldn't stop thinking about it even after I got home. I went inside and the house was empty.

"I'm home." I said.

My dad has been working abroad for the past 2 years and I'm really thankful that he's delivering money to me and a shrine of my mom who passed away 1 year ago sits on the living room. I walked up to the shrine and I prayed to my mom.

"Hey mom, I'm home. I miss you very much and I hope your happy at wherever you are. Please watch over Dad, Beatrice and me, they really mean a lot to me and I wouldn't like to see them get hurt or what. Thank you, I love you." I said.
(a/n. Soo where I come from, we pray to our dead relatives by going to there shrine and kinda talk to them like when they were alive. Just to be clear for some readers hehe)

after I prayed, I went up to my room and texted Beatrice.

"Heyoo, I'm home." I said.

There was no reply yet so I took a shower first.

(Beatrice's POV)
"Mom, I gotta tell you something" I said. "Uhuh what is it?" She asked. "Ummm there's this guy." I said. "Mhmm yeaaa go on." She urged. "He likes me and.........I like him too." I said. "Yeahhh sooo now???" She said while pulling her face closer to mine. "We're together now." I said. "Ohh okay." She said calmly. "What? y-you're not mad?" I asked with shock. "Oh no. I could tell earlier when you came home. Your face was really red like a strawberry hahaha." She laughed while I was speechless. "Anyway who's the guy?" She asked. "Chris, an exchange student." I said. "Ooooh an exchange student, that's nice. From where is he?" She asked. "I don't know, but he seemed really nice and handsome." I said. "Oh okay well I'll let you go, you do you." She said. "R-really?!" I asked. "Yeah. Awww my baby Beatrice is growing up." She said as she wiped her invisible tears. "Aww thanks mom, your the best!!" I said as I hugged her. "Your welcome dear." She said

After our talk, I went up to my room to take a shower. After that, I lied on my bed to relax and I checked my phone to see a text from Chris.

"Heyoo, I'm home." He texted
"Oh hii slr, I was talking with my mom." I replied (a/n slr means "sorry late reply")
"Hahaha it's okay, anyway what are you doing?" He asked.
"None at the moment, anyway I have good news." I said
"Ouh? What is it?" He asked
"Well I talked to my mom about us, then guess what." I said
"What?" He replied.
"She's cool with it." I said
"Really?! I thought she was strict with these things." He said
"Yea I thought so too hahahaha." I said.
"Hahahah that's Great!!" He said.
"Hmm you wanna come over to my house tomorrow? I'll introduce you to my mom." I offered.
"Hahaha sure, I'm nervous." He replied
"Haha it's okay. She's cool with it." I said
"Yeaahh okay then." He said.
"Anyway, it's getting late now, I think I'll go to sleep." I said.
"Hahaa okay then, I'll go to sleep as well. Goodnight sweet dreams." He said.
"Okayy haha goodnight and sweet dreams as well." I said

After I sent my text, I charged my phone and prepared my stuff then I went to sleep. Today is really a special day.
