chapter 5

Beatrice's POV
"Mom, I'm home!" I said as I went in the house. "Oh hey, welcome back."she said as I walked in my dad's altar. Hi dad,I'm home. "Well, you're just in time for dinner, go wash up now." She said. "Okay!" I said then quickly went up to the bathroom to freshen up then went back down to the dining room. "So, how was you're first day of school?" She asked. "Well, it was boring at first but I met a boy h-" I said as I was suddenly cutted of. "Woah woah, a boy?" She asked suspiciously. "Y-yeah, his name is Chris, a new exchange student." I said. "Okay, what are you friends?" She asked. "Well, we haven't really talked to each other. We just met at the balcony when we accidentally bumped each other." I explained. "Oh okay but you know that no love first okay." She said. "Yes mom, studies before lovies." I said. "That's my girl now go eat up and go to bed, it's getting late." She said. "Okay." I said as I finished up my food and cleaned up.

Mom and I have been living alone since dad died 5 years ago. He had a cancer in his kidney which led to several diesease's and thank goodness that we managed to say goodbye to him in time before he left us. I became a little distant to my friends because of my sad but I got over it because of Alice. She made me went through some stuff that made me comfortable in school again. And that's why she became my best friend since I met her.
I walked up to my dad's altar and prayed him goodnight and went up my room and slept. And had the best dream ever.

(Dream)
I was in a mountain side with my mom and dad, I was really shocked that I got to see my dad again, I realized that it was just a dream and  I was a bit dissapointed knowing that I will never hang out with my dad again. we were all having a picnic together. And it was really fun, we ate sandwiches, climbed the tree. It was all fun time with my family until dad said something that I couldn't understand.

"Don't let him go." He said.

I was a bit confused until he smiled at me and I heard a ringing sound.
(End dream)
I woke up noticing that it was 5:15 am and I went out of my bed abd took a bath. While taking a bath, a thought went up my head, it's about the dream that I had earlier. What was dad trying to say to me. I couldn't really figure out if it was just random stuff or serious stuff. I finished taking a bath, I wore my school uniform and saw mom cooking breakfast downstairs.

"Hi mom, goodmorning." I said. "Hey, goodmorning sweetheart. Sit thight now, breakfast is almost done." She said as I sat down. "Did you know mom? I had a strange dream earlier." I said. "Hmm? What's it about." She asked. "Well we were all in a mountain, dad was there. We were all playing, you know. Family fun stuff until dad said something weird." I said. "And, what was that thing he said." She asked.  "Don't let him go, I couldn't make up of what he said." I said. "Oh maybe it's just random stuff." She said. "Or maybe serious stuff." I said. "Hmm maybe. Okay here's you're breakfast." She said. "Thanks." I said as I ate breakfast. (Timeskip)
"Okay mom, I gotta go now." I said. "Okay hon, be careful on you're way and study well." She said. "Bye." I said as I kissed her cheek goodbye.
