Chapter 20

Beatrice's POV

After my call with Chris, the 3 of us left Shirley's house and walked to Chris's house.

*Flashback to Chapter 17*

"So what's the plan?" Jake asked.

"Hmm... How bout we pretend that Chris and I broke up." I said then they all looked at me as if I was crazy.

"What?!!" Jake and Alice said in unison.

"Guys, just hear her out." Chris said.

"Ehem, as I was saying. To find out if Shirley is really the culprit, I suggest Chris and I take a "break" from each other. Let things cool down for a few days, then when the time is right. Chris would confront Shirley while we search Shirley's place for evidence to prove that she uploaded the video" I said.

"That's a great idea." Chris said as Jake and Alice agreed.

*End of Flashback*

We reached Chris' place like we planned. We all agreed to have a sleepover in his place after all of this is over.

While we waited for Chris to arrive. The 3 of us cleaned up the place for a bit and after that Jake and Alice went roamed around the house while I was busy watching TV.

After a few minutes, I heard the door open. I turned around to see Chris standing by the door.

"Hey guys!" He said as he closed the door behind him.

"Hey Chris." I said as I ran and gave him a hug.

"Finally, we can be in peace now." He said then pulled me into a kiss.

I felt a spark between us. I closed my eyes and kissed him back. He snaked his arms around my waist then carried me bridal style to the couch, not breaking the kiss. I placed my arms behind his neck and pulled him closer.

"I've missed you very much." He said then continued the kiss while descending down my neck.

"I miss you too." I said as I let out a soft moan.

After a while, we heard Jake and Alice coming back down, so we broked our kiss and pretended to watch TV. His arm circling around me.

"Hey Chris, I didn't know you're already back." Alice said as they both went downstairs.

We turned around to see them standing, their hands holding. I gave Alice a "what is this?" Look then she nodded.

"Are you two..." I said while pointing to the two of them.

"Together???" Chris finished my sentence.

"Yes!" Jake and Alice nodded.

"Oh my god!!!! I knew it!!! I knew it!!" I said as I jumped up and down and hugged Chris.

"Congratulations guys!!! You two are perfect for each other." Chris said.

"Aww thanks." Alice said then kissed Jake's cheek.

"Oh by the way guys, I bought some dinner earlier. I suggest we eat know before the food gets cold." Chris said then the 4 of us headed to the dining room.

We chatted and ate our dinner, after that, we sat on the couch and watched Netflix. Alice and Jake had been teasing each other while I was wrapped in Chris' arms. It felt so comforting and secure.

Its 2am.
Alice and Jake have already been knocked out cold. I placed a blanket on them then went back to Chris's arms. I felt drowsy. I yawned a bit then scratched my eyes.

"Hey B." Chris whispered.

"Yea?" I asked sleepily.

"You wanna take a break now?" He asked.

"Hm sure." I said

Chris nodded then turned off the TV.
He pulled my arm to lead me upstairs, we walked across the hallway then led me inside a room. His bedroom.

HAHAHAHAH did I leave you hanging there?
