Beatrice's POV
"Oh sorry, here you go." I said as I gave him thr notebook. "T-thanks." Chris said. "Well, I-I gotta go now, bye." I said then quickly left with Alice.

OMG, OMG. I can't believe I just did that whyy!!!! I shouldn't have picked up the book wahahahaha I can't believe this. We touched handss.

"All right Beatrice that's enough, I can literally see you panicking in your thoughts again." Alice said. "What's the point of this, why did you even push me to Chris?" I asked irritatedly. "For you two too see each other again." She said. "How do you even know if he likes me back." I asked. "Well when he saw you, he was definitely suprised to see you and blushed a bit. Soooo yeah, confirmed. He likes you." She said. "Oh how am I going to explain this to my parents." I said. "Then don't, just keep it a secret." She said. "I can't just keep a secret from my parents, and they'll easily find out. I just have to come clean." I said. "Okay, wanna go get a snack?" She asked. "Sure. I need a little food from what just happened." I said then we walked to the convenience store.

Chris's POV
I was still at the locker room, frozen from what just happened. I kept thinking about that moment earlier. When we bumped each other, and now. I held her hand. It was warm and comforting. I kept thinking about this until Jake came.

"Hey Chris, what's up? You've been standing and facing that direction for so long. Did you see a ghost?" He teased. "Hm? Oh hey Jake. No it's not a ghost, it's Beatrice earlier." I said. "Hmmm? What happened?" He asked. "Well, I was just placing my books in the locker until Beatrice was suddenly beside me, she said hi s-so I said hi too and my notebook fell and We both reached out to get it and...." I said as I cringed at the last part. "What, what happened?" He asked impatiently. "We touched hands!!!" I said as I jumped up and down like a kid. "OMG hahaha, now it's confirmed, you like her." He said. "Yes, maybe so." I said. "Well then you should court her now before someone else does." He said. "Ummm I need more time to get close to her then maybe I'll ask her about it." I said. "Well, okay then." He said. "Wanna go get a snack?" I asked. "Sure." He said then we walked to the convenience store.
(Timeskip)
"Here we are, what do you want?" I asked. "Ummm maybe her." He said as he pointed that made me look. "Beatrice." I whispered. "yep, and why do you two always come and meet often huh? Is it by fate?" He asked. "Maybe." I said as we got our snacks and waited in line to pay until we heard giggles behind us. "Oh great, here they come." I said as Beatrice and her friend waited behind us. "You should make your move." Jake whispered in my ear. "What, now? In front of all these people? No way." I said as Beatrice's bottle fell.

Huh, she doesn't seem to notice as I walked to the bottle and grabbed it and walked towards Beatrice.

"Beatrice." I said as I slowly walked towards her. "Oh h-hey Chris." She said as she slowly walked backwards until she was cornered. "D-do you need something?" She asked nervously. "You dropped this." I said as I gave her the bottle. "Oh thanks." She said as I smiled and gently placed a piece of her hair behind her ear then went back to Jake.

Luckily, Jake was already in front of the line so we payed for our snacks then left while giving a smile to Beatrice.
