I sighed at the boss, also known as Adrian, my foster parent so to speak. His family don't know I exist but still I work with him, I get my own suit. It annoys the others since I'm only 16 and should be in school, but apparently a brain like mine shouldn't be wasted writing essays. My suit allowed me to fly and contained several weapons along with a shield looking hologram, however, only I could wear it from the metal coordinators implanted into my skull. I guess I am the lab experiment gone right.

"Kassie come here!" I turned and walked over to Adrian who was tampering with his Vulture suit. "What's up?" I asked leaning over to see what he was fixing. "Could you do me a favour and go to school?" He said this as if it was a normal thing. "You would actually let me? What do you get out of it?" I floated and sat in the air. "I need you to keep an eye out for the tech we lost near the school when fighting Spiderman. It's important no one else got their hands on it and tampered." He explained and I nodded. "When do I start?"
"In an hour, and for heavens sake Kass take off your suit!" He ordered and I nodded walking away to get changed.

I threw on a mesh black hoodie over a cropped black tank top, and black ripped leggings. I then put on some blue boots, fixed my makeup, also using foundation to cover up the metal implants, and plaited part of my silver hair , before walking outside where my transport waited.

Inside the car was all the books and stationary I would need, all placed neatly into a backpack. We soon pulled up to the school and I took a deep breath. "Boss said not to speak to Liz much, but other than that lay low." My driver said before I stepped out and he sped off.

I walked inside, wandering the halls and checking the rooms to try and figure out what is where. My first lesson, double chemistry. I walked upstairs still searching for the lab when I bashed into someone. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry. Wait are you new?" I looked towards the boy who I bashed into, noting he looked like he had run a marathon, and nodded. "Peter Parker," he held out his hand. "Kassie." I replied, shaking his hand. "You need help finding your room?" He asked, taking my timetable and examining it. "Can you help?" I asked and he nodded. "It's my class, come on we're late," he led me around the corridors until we arrived in the lab.
