What Mia looks like ^
I sighed, as I looked up at the clouds, it was a sunny, summers day, but I felt as gloomy as a rainy, thundery day. I swirled my fingers around, smiling as the faint glow of my magic appeared. I was born with it, however, I never knew who my real parents were, I only knew the ones I had now, who had adopted me as a baby. That was 17 years ago.
"No, she's in there!" I suddenly heard a voice, which I unfortunately recognised, from the other side of my garden fence. I sighed, looking over at the slingshot which had been thrown over. It was definitely Thomas.
Well, everyone called him 10k, he was most likely talking to his best friend, Ed. They were friends of mine, we met in our physics class, which we equally hated. You see, upon first meeting the three of us, you'd think we were the popular kids, at least everyone always assumes that, but we're not. We're just three normal(ish) teenagers, who enjoy spending nights in the forest and watching nerdy films.
I stood up and walked over to the fence, picking up the slingshot on my way, to where I now saw them both looking over, most likely stood on the rock which sat on the other side. "Hey guys, you realise you can come through the gate right?" I asked, gesturing to the end of the fence, they nodded and walked away, appearing seconds later to join me.
"So, who's is this?" I asked holding out the slingshot, they looked at eachother, Ed pushed 10k forwards.
"Mine. Thanks for grabbing it." He went to take it, but last minute I pulled back, laughing.
"Mind if I try it out?" I asked, he shrugged and I went into my recycling to grab some old cans for targets.
However, when I returned 10k was gone. I turned to Ed, "where's he gone?" I asked, he pointed out into the trees. My garden fence shrunk at the back, leading way to the woods which my 'family' owned. "Come on, we need to go. We heard a kid screaming!" Ed pulled me along, and we took off into the forest, where we saw 10k running with a small boy in his arms, waving us into the house.
"10k, what happened?" I asked, but he didn't reply, instead he dropped to the floor. I instantly bent down, "10k! Thomas!" I shouted, shaking him, Ed tapped me and I looked over at him. The boy had a bleeding leg, and it looked bad. "Thomas, what happened?!" I pleaded, shaking my friend, but in that moment I felt a sharp pain and looked over at Ed, eyes wide. Then we fell into darkness...
"Holy shit.." I muttered, sitting up. That was one hell of a dre....oh for fucks sake! I looked around at the room I was in, there were five other people, one of which was Thomas. I instantly ran to him, shaking him. "Come on, wake up! Wake up!" I pleaded, then he shot up and pushed me down, pinning me to the floor.
"Wait! It's me! Mia!" I squeaked, and he instantly let go, standing up and helping me.
"What happened? Where are we?" He asked, as we looked around and the others started to get up.
