I drove up through the gates of the asylum. I was here looking for Mr Miles Upshur. A man who never returned from his job at the asylum, and a man who's wife is my freind, a friend who is worried sick. I looked at the wretched place. You see it's not my first time visiting. I was a patient once, one who was put into an experiment but came out sane, instead of this nightmare creature. Project Wallrider they called it, and I was the only woman to be trialed as the source of a wallrider, the first woman. I didn't volunteer for it, in fact I was forced, after all I may have been a little crazy. Maybe I still am coming back here, but I saw the amount of people who died in this procedure, and wasn't ready to be added to the list of failures. Technically, I already was, but I lived and failed, I left the nice way, unlike any others who left from one hell to what I hope wasn't another. I left sane, free to be a real person with a real life, a life outdoors or in my house, and no one could tell me otherwise.

I got out of my car and saw another, it was small but big enough for four. "Must be Miles'" I said to myself which was then confirmed by the badge on the front seat. I walked up to the front door and took a deep breath, I only pray I remember my way around. Turns out I do, but only towards my old, lab. This happened to be down, get in the lift and go down until you can't no more, however it was exactly how I remembered it, if you minus all the blood and dead people, half exploded of course.

I wandered around until I arrived back to one place I always knew, the core of the project, where one ball was filled with blood, the other a man.."Billy" I let a tear fall as I remembered my best friend, the one who kept me partially sane. His cell was right next to mine, but when I was taken I never saw him again. That was only 3 or 4 years ago, he must have aged about 27 in this state. He looked 50! I tapped the glass one more time before turning and walking through the cell block door. I soon heard the sound of a buzz saw and turned the corner to find myself face to face with Frank. "Meat! Want meat!" He screamed charging at me. I covered my face ready for impact but it never came, "Jewel?" He asked and I nodded.

"Hi Frank," I said smiling.

"How are you back? Why?" He said looking utterly confused.

"I'm looking for a friend, male, camcorder?" I described the best I could, I had never actually met Miles, stupid right?"

"I've seen him, ran away before I could eat him, slippery bastard," Frank growled, clearly angry.

"Please try not to kill him, just chase him in the right direction, if you see him make sure he ends up at the entrance." I told him and he nodded before we went our separate ways.

Soon, I wandered far away from the underground labs and ended up outside, that's when Chris appeared. "Little Pig!" He yelled charging at me. I turned and sprinted as fast as I could jumping over beds, glass and various body parts.

"Leave me alone Chris!" I screamed glancing back at him, unfortunately I had the worst timing and tripped over a broken fence. "Little Pig!" Chris roared again as he stopped above me, then I felt it, the Wallrider was here.

"Billy!" I shouted seeing the shadow above us. He looked towards us before flying down and picking Chris up, taking him to god knows where. "Thank you," I whispered looking up at the sky as I continued on my way.

Soon, I was going through the sewers and came out next to a tower, which my only option was to climb, how fun. It took a while but I made it, only to find nothing at the top except a way to jump across to a different roof. I took a deep breath before walking backwards and sprinting off the egdge, then I landed but went straight through with a thud. "Well shit," I muttered getting back up and looking around. I was in an attic which had loads of wood boards for walls and beds everywhere along with shelves.

"Well hello darling!" I froze. There was only one man who called people darling, assuming all the staff were dead. "Eddie Gluskin." I turned, leaning against the nearby beam.

"Oh, darling, you know my name, may I be blessed with yours?" I smiled, charming as ever.

"They called me Jewel," I stepped into the light, "I don't know anything else." It was the truth, something I'd learned Gluskin valued back when we were inmates. My name was lost to me, so was my family, so I went by the nickname granted by the insane, 'Jewel' for the only woman left.

"My jewel? I thought you were dead." He rushed forwards, and it was then I noticed the knife he held.

"Easy," I reached forwards, placing a hand over his, "I don't want to get hurt."

"Darling, I'd never hurt you," he reached up with his free hand, placing it on my cheek. "Not when you're so..." he trailed down, "valuable."

"I'm not here for that.." I let out a small sigh as he continued, "I'm looking for someone."

"What?" Shit. "My jewel, looking for another?"

"Edd..."

"You whore!" His hand rose with the knife and I darted back.

"It's not like that! He has a wife! He's just a friend!"

"You think I'm stupid?! They're never just a friend!"

"Eddie, please, I'm yours." I didn't realise what I was saying, my mind felt tangled, something old rising, "only yours." And I collapsed, kneeling to the ground, head down. I had given in.

"Oh, darling, you've always looked pretty on your knees." The knife was placed under my chin, "look at me," I listened, "I didn't mean to scare you."

"Just a friend."

"Hmmm, say you find him, what do you plan on doing?"

"Taking him home, to his wife."

"Darling, I can't let you go with a man," his face grew twisted again, "I'll have to make sure you can't go anywhere!" He raised the knife and so I did the only thing I knew.

"When I was a girl, my father said to me, get married girl, and see how happy you will be. I have looked all over but no man, can I find.."

"Who seems like the guy I have in mind"
"Who seems like the girl I have in mind"

"Let's get you a dress!" The knife lodged into the floor beside me, and then he was lifting me from the ground. "Darling you're going to enjoy this!"
