When I was a child, my planet, Krypton, was dying. I was sent to Earth to protect my cousin. But my pod got knocked off-course, and by the time I got here, my cousin had already grown up and become... Superman. To the outside world, I'm Kadi Brown, a barista at CC Jitters, but secretly I fly the night skies as Kadi Zor-El, watching over the city from the dark whilst The Flash fights in the light. That was until my world was under attack from aliens...

I poured the next cup of coffee, smiling at my customer as I gave her her drink. "Hey, did you hear about that ship?" She suddenly asked. I grinned, meeting her eyes.
"No, do tell."
"The government is saying it's nothing, but a lot of people believe that was an alien ship that crashed last night." I froze up at her words, looking away.
"I've got to go." With those words, I sprinted out, not caring that it could ruin my job. I made my way over to my spot in the alley, my super-speed helping me to get my suit on and fly off without anyone seeing my human identity. I had made the suit myself, using the old blankets, and clothes I'd been given to help look after myself and Kal, my cape was made from his one of his own, a gift as he took a break from his hero work.

I flew higher, keeping myself from sight as I made my way towards the crash site. Sure enough, there was an alien ship, but it definitely wasn't Kryptonian. "Time to find speedy, he's definitely heard about this." I mumbled, before heading to Star Labs, scanning the building. Nobody was in sight. And so, I closed my eyes, focusing on the voice I knew so well from the numerous reports on tv with The Flash giving a speech. "He did shoot me." My eyes shot open, hearing his voice and flying straight for it.
My end location: a Star Labs warehouse. I slowly floated down, looking into the doorway. What I saw stopped my world. She was there, as clear as day, talking with a woman, there was my twin. I tried to step forward, nothing. My feet were glued to the ground, even my super strength couldn't release me. "Kara? Did you change into a new suit?" I looked up, a familiar face, Iris West, was looking at me. That confirmed everything. I didn't reply, instead, I looked past her shoulder, only to get a face, spitting image of my own, staring back.
