I wake up to the overly adorable, very cheerful voice of my three year old daughter, Stella. She stands at the foot of the bed, holding her pink blanket and Ewok stuffed animal. "Good morning, mama,"
I smile at her. "Good morning, Stella,"
"Guess what?"
"What?"
"It's Life Day!" She exclaims. "Can we please wake up papa?"
"Sure, sweetie," I reply.
Stella smiles cheerfully and walks towards Poe, who still sleeps peacefully. "Papa!" She screams. "Wake up!"
Poe jumps up, startled by the sudden noise. "What?! Is everything okay? Did someone break in?! Do I need my blaster!?"
"No, no," I say, shaking my head and laughing. "no one broke in."
"You scared me." Poe sighs in relief. "Now, what's wrong?"
"It's Life Day!"
"It is?" Poe asks, a smile appearing on his face as Stella nods. "Well, how about we go see PopPop and MeMe?"
"Okay!" Stella squeals. "Come on!"
~
"MeMe! PopPop!" Stella exclaims, running up to my mom and papa without a care in the world. "Guess what?"
"What?" My mom asks, picking her up.
"I got a necklace!" She replies, and picks up the small Kyber crystal around her neck. "It's like yours! Isn't it pretty?"
"It's beautiful." Mom states. "Are you going to use it to make a lightsaber one day?"
"Yep," she says. "I gonna be just like Auntie Rey and Uncle Finn and Uncle Ben!"
"I bet you will." Mom says, laughing slightly. "Hey, Auntie Rose and Riley and Milo are making cookies in the kitchen. How about you join them?"
"Okay!" Stella grins as my mom puts her on the ground and she runs off. "Bye mama, bye papa!"
My papa stifles a laugh. "She definitely is your daughter, has a sweet tooth for sugar."
"Doesn't everyone?" I ask. "Hi, papa,"
"Hi Star," he replies, hugging me. "How are you?"
"Good." I reply. "What about you guys?"
"We've been great."
"That's good," Poe says, nodding. "anyway, happy Life Day."
"Happy Life Day to you all, too,"
~
After visiting my parents and eating lots of cookies, we decide to head back home, with a tired Stella.
"Come on, Stella," Poe says, carrying her into her bedroom and placing her down on her bed. "Time for night-night, sleepyhead."
"But papa, I...not...tired.." she then falls asleep.
"Well, she's out." I laugh, pressing a kiss to her forehead.
Stella has been very, very talkative and hyper these past six months, and has been a pretty good listener.
However, she's been having nightmares at night, and certain words scare her.
I don't know what's wrong with her, but we're sure it's just a faze and it'll probably *hopefully* pass soon.
Poe and I walk out of her room, and turn the light out, slightly closing the door behind us.
"Goodnight, Stella,"

Authors Note:
Very, very short. I'm sorry!
This chapter was originally supposed to be a one-shot where Rey and Finn celebrate Life Day together, and Poe and Lyra make an appearance, but I decided just to make it Poe and Lyra celebrating Life Day with Stella.
Hope you liked it! Merry (late) Christmas!
