Yesterday I offered to help Luke with the younglings, and today I forgot. Like, completely forgot. Normally I remember these sorts of things. But I didn't remember this. I don't know why, but I've been so forgetful lately.

I quickly brush my hair and pull it back into a braid before heading out. Standing in the doorframe, I stare off, suddenly getting the feeling that I forgot something. Again.

Then it hits me.

I reach my hand out, hearing the sound of things knocking off counters and shelves, then suddenly a lightsaber lands in my hand. "Can't forget this," I mutter, attaching it to my belt then walking down the hall.

"Hey, Rey,"

I stop at the sudden voice, turning around to see no one other than: "Nathan," I greet. "Hello,"

"Where are you headed off to?" Nathan asks, taking a few steps towards me.

"To help with the younglings," I inform. "What about you?"

"I'm actually on my way to ... make a delivery," Nathan replies.

"Ah, really?" I ask. "What is—?"

As I speak, I feel a slight prick in my neck. I bring my hand up, confused. My vision begins to swim and before I know it, I'm falling to the ground.

"It's you," Nathan says, voice distant.

Then my conscious fades away.

"She's still..."

I hear a voice; it's muffled but it's definitely there. My head throbs as I finally come to, only to find myself surrounded by darkness. 'Where am?' I wonder.  It doesn't take long to realize that my eyes are closed and that's why I can't see anything. 'What happened?'

"Is she—?"

"Shhh! Be ... I think ... waking up,"

Suddenly memories from what happened come flashing back to me. I open my eyes with a gasp. I find myself leaned against a wall with my limbs sprawled out on a very uncomfortable ground. My vision is blurry and swims, making me feel ill.

"Hey, are you okay?" One of the voices asks. "Hey?! Are you with us?"

"Where..." I ask, cutting myself off mid-sentence as a dizzy spell passes. I close my eyes, waiting for it to pass. "Where am I?"

"If you opened your eyes you'd find yourself in a cell," Another voice— a woman, informs. I open my eyes to find that I am indeed in a cell. "Welcome! I'm your neighbor, Charlotte, and so is Mr. I-Like-To-Hold-A-Grudge-Even-Though-You-Didn't-Do-Anything-At-All over there. Say hi!"

I roll my head to the side to see another cell on my left side, where a man around Poe's age leans against the wall. "Hey," he waves. He has green hair and fair skin. His eyes are blue with a tinge of purple in them.

"There's two more of us, as you can probably tell by the empty cells," Charlotte says. I look at her again. She has black hair and an olive complexion. Her eyes are a dark brown, similar to Nathan's. "They're just in interrogation."

I attempt to sit up, only to find myself unable to move. My eyes widen in fear.

"The serum they injected you with put you in a temporary state of paralysis," the man states. "Since they used that on you, I can safely assume you're a fellow force sensitive."

"Don't worry, it passes," Charlotte says. "Takes a few days, depending on how much they used on you. But it'll pass."

"I have a headache," I say quietly.
