Authors Note 1:
This chapter may or may not break the fourth wall a lot. Don't say I didn't warn you.
On with the book!—
"I can't move it," Milo whines, trying to lift the small blue rock off of the ground. "Leia, can you help me? Please?"
"Sorry, Milo," I apologize. "I'm not the force-user in my family. You'll have to ask Luke."
"I already did," Milo replies, sitting down. "he said he's busy."
"Well, what about Rey? Or Finn?" I suggest, he shakes his head. "Or you could always ask ... you know, Ben?"
"No!" Milo exclaims, complete terror in his blue eyes.
Ever since he and his sister moved here, they've been absolutely terrified of Ben. Their parents barely let them around him. Although I'm his mother; I really can't blame them.
Ben—Kylo, did kidnap them.
I'd be terrified of him if I was them, too.
"No, I-I don't need his help." Milo says calmly. "I can do this myself."
"Okay," I reply. "well, if you need help any help ever-"
"-I won't," he assures. "I'll just wait for Luke."
~
"I can't believe Rey is engaged!" Luke states, sighing heavily. "It feels like yesterday she was that six year old who just lost her very first tooth, now she's engaged and getting married in six months."
"Yeah," Han agrees. "and it almost feels like Rey and Finn just met. They haven't been dating that long, have they?"
"They've been dating for three years." I reply. "And they've know each other for four. However, it may just seem shorter to you because you missed a lot when you were ... well, dead."
"I know," Han sighs.
"Hey, where's Chewy? And C-3PO? And R2-D2?" Luke asks. "This could take awhile, where's the walking carpet and droids? They haven't made an appearance in this book at all?"
"What book?" I ask.
"Literally, kid, what are you talkin' about?" Han asks. "Have you lost your mind or something?"
"Nothing," Luke sighs. "but seriously, where's Chewy and the droids?"
I laugh. "Why does that sound like a boy band?"
"It does!" Han replies. "Chewy and the droids - the next Jonas brothers."
"Oh my gosh," Luke mutters. "dying sure did change you. Now, please, could you answer my question?"
"Ah, calm down," Han says. "they're fine. BeeBee has been busy being an uncle to Stella, Artoo and Threepio are arguing like usual, and Chewy's been stalking Ben."
"Chewy is stalking Ben?"
"Yeah, he's just making sure Kylo is actually gone." Han explains. "He barely lets Chewy around me anymore." He sighs again. "I sure do miss when they got along. I hate how much has changed."
"You can't blame him," I state. "he did watch him kill you. That'd be pretty scarring."
"It would be," Luke agrees. "I mean, I forgive the kid and all, but he did take my wife and my daughter from me. It's hard to be around him. But, I promise you, I do forgive him. It isn't the Jedi way not to forgive."
"Ben's been pretty hard on himself lately," I say. "I wish that everything could go back to normal."
"It's Star Wars," Han states, and Luke and I turn to him. "when has anything been normal?" Noticing our glances, Han's eyes widen. "Oh crap, I'm Deadpool now, too!"
"Who the heck is Deadpool?"
~
"Ben?" I ask, opening his bunk door to see him levitating an object with the force. "Ben, hi."
"Hello, mom," Ben says, suddenly dropping the object and turning to face me. "What's up? Is everything okay?"
I nod. "Yeah, I was just checking on you,"
"Oh, good," he sighs in relief.
"Hey, do you want to go eat dinner at the café with your father and I?" I suggest. "You don't have to, I'm just asking. We haven't spent time as a family in a long time."
"Sure," he shrugs. "I'll come. What time?"
"I don't know," I reply. "Six-ish?"
"Okay," he replies. "I'll meet you guys there."
~
Dinner went great.
We talked, made jokes, and basically did anything any regular family would do. For the first time in many years, we actually felt like a family.
Ben even told us why he turned, and what it was like.
Apparently, the dark side had been calling at him for awhile, trying to get him to turn. And when Brittany died, it just pushed him over the edge.
So, he turned.
He also said, when he was with the first order, that he had a general named Hux who he absolutely hated.
And, how he described him, it almost sounded like he was describing Poe.
I swear those two would probably get along.
Or they'd hate each other.
It could be either one, honestly.
I don't know with Poe anymore. Ever since he got married and adopted Stella, he's been very different. In a good way.
He's a bit more serious, although he still has a great sense of humor, and I've only had to slap him for being stupid twice this week.
No, wait, I take that back. Three times. I had to slap him three times for being stupid.
But what's once more?
Anyway, today was a great day. And hopefully it stays that way.
I walk into my bunk, and, for the first time ever, I go to bed feeling safe and happy, knowing that my once broken family, is back together, and it will never fall apart again.
Little do I know what seeks around the corner, soon ready to strike the now peaceful galaxy.

Authors Note 2:I realize these past few chapters haven't been the best, but I promise it'll get better soon! I need suggests on who's POV should be next? Not Han, he'll come soon, but not right now.
