Past:
A young boy walked throughout the small village on the poor planet, his mind wandered as his feet patted on the dusty hard ground.
Many things were on his mind, and it seemed they'd never get off.
He wanted the thoughts to go away, he wanted peace. How could he make his mind shut up? With a sigh, the young boy stopped walking, and let others pass him.
A distant scream was heard.
And his mind finally went blank.
Without hesitation, the boy picked up his pace, and followed the scream.
He followed the voice into one of the alleys, where he found something he hadn't expected.
Two children.
Two children sat alone in the alleyway.
One was a girl. He guessed she was around his age, if not a year or two younger. She had beautiful green eyes, pale skin, and dark hair.
The other child was a boy. He was most definitely older then the girl, as she was clinging onto him and he seemed rather protective of her. He had blue eyes, pale skin, and dark hair. They had similar features, the eyes being the only thing different.
They were siblings, there was no doubt.
The young boy hesitantly knelt down in front of them, and ignored the way the two flinched at his sudden movement.
"Hey, I won't hurt you."
The girl didn't look convinced, but the boy hesitantly looked up at him.
"You promise?" The other boy asked, his voice quiet and fragile. He sounded so much younger then he was.
The young boy nodded in reply, "Can you tell me what happened?"
The young girl finally looked up at him, lip quivering, her voice trembling as she spoke,
"My mama won't wake up." She cried. "Why won't she wake up?"The young boy frowned and said, "What happened?"
"Bad men came," the other boy said, his voice low. "they had these weird laser things. I don't know what they're called, but they were blue."
"Blue?"
The boy nodded as he spoke, "Yeah, they were blue. And they...they stabbed mom in the chest, I think. I-I heard her scream, and came in, they were hovering over her and she was yelling for us to go."
"She closed her eyes," Added the girl. "I tried to get her to wake up. She didn't!"
"Where's your dad?" The boy asked. "Maybe he can help."
"We don't have a dad." The boy stated. "Mom he's a real idiot and doesn't deserve us. I don't know what she means, but I'm guessing it's because he's a real idiot."
There was silence, until: "Maybe you can come with me?" The young boy offered. "I mean, it'd be nice, to have some company. I guess."
The girls eyes lit up, "What? We can't live with you! You're just a boy, like my brother!"
"What would your family say about this?" The boy asked.
"I-I don't have a family," he stated. "I ran away; they didn't treat me very nice."
"Oh," the girl said. "So you're all alone?"
The boy shook his head, "No, not anymore I'm not. I have you guys now. And together, we'll get the revenge we deserve."
