Chapter Thirty Three- Lyra.

"I just don't think you're hearing me out." I hear Ben's voice from behind me, and I turn around. He's talking to Jessika, who stares up at him, looking annoyed. Part of me wonders what they're talking about. Maybe if I just asked...

Don't cut in. I tell myself, turning back to my book. It's probably stupid.

"Ben, I heard you out and what I heard was dumb." Jessika says. "I don't understand why you think what you think. I mean, how stupid do you have to be to believe such a thing?"

"Ah hah! You said 'I don't understand', meaning you weren't listening!" Ben replies. I imagine she's rolling her eyes right about now. "If you were truly hearing me, you'd agree with me. I know you would."

"Ben..." Jessika sighs. "For the last time, I did hear you. I don't agree with you. And I'll never agree with you."

"What are you two talking about?" Rey finally asks for all of us. I'm so glad I'm not the only one wanting to know. "Why is Jess calling you dumb and stupid, and why are you saying she's not listening?"

"Because she isn't!"

"Because he is!"

They speak at the same time.

Jess sighs again. "Ben is convinced that John from Sherlock is the true star of the show."

"I'm convinced he is because, well, HE IS!"

"If John was the star, wouldn't it be called 'John' instead of 'Sherlock'?" Jessika asks, glaring at him. "John is not the star. Sherlock is."

"No, he's not!" Ben snaps, turning towards us. "Okay, okay, now you guys listen to me and tell me who you think is the one and true star of the show. Okay?"

"Okay."

"In the beginning of the show, it opens up with a memory from John's past." Ben explains. "He's in the war, then he gets hurt, then he wakes up and it was just another PTSD nightmare. He sits on the bed for the rest of the night and then when morning comes he gets his breakfast and takes out his strange earthly device."

"We don't need all the details."

"Shut up Jessika Pava!"

"You shut up, Ben Solo!"

"What's up with the full names thing?" Finn asks. "What are you, Nancy and Steve?"

I gasp. "Mama Steve? I love him!"

"No, Lyra, this is back when Steve was a-"

"ROSE!"

"You don't know what I was going to say."

"What were you going to say?" Poe asks.

"...I can't say it, Stella's here."

"Can I continue telling you all why John is the true star?"

"Yes, Benny. You can."

"Don't call me that!"

"Okay, Benny, I'm sorry."

Ben sighs, glaring at Jess. "Like I was saying, he takes out his strange earthly device-"

"Which is called a laptop."

"And goes on his blog." Ben says, ignoring Jessika's comment. "It then changes to John in counseling, talking to his counselor. She says he hasn't written a word in his blog and he says she wrote that he still has trust issues, which she replies with saying he reads her writing upside down and he needs to start writing everything that happens to him in his blog."
