Everyday is the same here.

You wake up, wait for food to arrive, eat said food, the guards come in to take you to the bathroom where you take a freezing cold shower in under a minute, then you're returned to your cell and they bring in the second (and final) meal of the day, and you fall asleep.

Or, you try to.

It's kinda hard to sleep when your hair is wet and your cell is freezing. And it doesn't help when two of your cellmates constantly bicker about the smallest things, and the other two who don't bicker are either snoring or having an anxiety attack in the corner of the room. It also doesn't help when you do actually fall asleep but then wake up feeling ill at random times in the night.

What also really stinks is you never know what time it is here. After being in here for what I'd say was about four days, I stopped counting. Actually, scratch that, I gave up.

I realized that time wasn't much of a thing in here, so why try to keep track?

But if you were to ask me how long I've been here, I'd probably guess a month. Could be more, could be less. For all I know, it could have been a year (although that's highly unlikely)

At least I think it is.

"You look terrible,"

"Sheesh, thanks."

"It's the truth," Andrew replies, "You do look quite awful."

"Whatever." I roll my eyes, though amused by the young boys honesty, "But yeah, I feel terrible, so it kinda makes sense that I'd look terrible."

"Another rough night?" Charlotte asks.

"Yeah," I admit, "I didn't sleep a wink I was so sick."

"It's probably the food," Jacen suggests, "That slop is disgusting."

"Could be," I say, "But you guys aren't getting sick, so I don't think so."

"Yeah, but we've been longer than you have," Dustin says, "Our bodies are probably just used to it, so it doesn't make us sick."

I shrug.

In the corner of my eye I see Andrew writing in a small notepad. He's almost always writing in that thing, and he's extremely protective over it. I don't really know where he got it from. I just kinda assumed he had it when he came here and the guards just somehow never managed to notice it.

I wouldn't be surprised. Those guards are very stupid, and Andrew is extremely smart.

With a sigh, I flop down on the cot.

It isn't long before I doze off...

~

Alarms.

Flashing lights.

Loud footsteps.

I awake, confused and disoriented at the sudden noise and flashing. Andrew, Dustin, Jacen and Charlotte are sitting upright in their cots, all three of them looking both terrified and almost... hopeful.

"What the heck is going on?!" I shout over the alarms.

"I don't know!" Dustin replies, "We were sleeping and the alarms just went off and the lights started flashing, I don't know what's happening!"

Suddenly a couple of guards come in along with a woman who looks pure evil. They march over to my cell and open the door. I'm caught off guard when one of them grabs me and forces me onto my feet, "What the heck!" I shout, trying elbow him in the face but failing.

"What are you doing to her?!" Andrew asks, alarmed.

"We believe we may be under attack, we need to get her down to the lab." says the woman to no one specific.

My eyes widen in fear, "Lab?!"

Everything seems to be happening quickly. I try to fight them off, but it's no match. It's three force sensitive guards and one Sith against a sleep deprived Jedi who hasn't eaten real food in a month.

It doesn't take me long before I lose energy and finally give up.

As they drag me away, the sounds of protests coming from my cellmates fade away.
