Summary: Steve confuses to cheating. you believe it's something you've done that's lead to him cheating. Steve shows you he's sorry and that you are more than enough for him. Sharon is nothing compared to you.

Pain. She felt pain in her chest. She started breathing heavily as her tears spilled over. She curled up and held her chest.

(y/n) curled up on one side of the bed while Steve kneeled as the other end. His quiet apologizes filled the room. (y/n) took a tripto work last week around the same time Steve returned from a month long mission. Tony decided to throw a party and Thor brought along some Asgardian booze for Steve and Bucky. (y/n) self -steem was already low as is but this was the icing on the cake dropping her self-esteem to nonexistence. (y/n) thought that since Steve obviously felt the need to cheat on her it was something she did. She didn't please him enough or right maybe he got tired of her a long time ago and was just staying with her for pity. He cheated on her so she obviously wasn't doing something right. She obviously wasn't good enough. Sharon...Sharon was good enough.

"no, no, no," Steve cried as he held her to his chest "I- I won't leave. I won't leave unless you want me to. Do you still want me?"

Steve kissed her roughly to shut up her pitiful thoughts.

"nothing. There is nothing you can do better. You're already perfect. I'm sorry I am so sorry. what happens with Sharon shouldn't have happened and I'm sorry that I let it. I love you and only you" Steve had silent tears running down his face "I-I"

"don't need to change a thing you are perfect. I love you all of you" Steve gently kissed her lips "I love" kissed her forehead "I love you" he kissed her shoulder "I love you" her neck "I love you".

Steve kissed her all over undressing her slowly whispering an 'I love you' everywhere his lips touched. He worshipped every part of her he showed her she was more than enough. He was taking care of her tonight her and her only.

The last article of clothing to be removed was her panties and he removed that slowly kissing his way down her legs as he went. He kissed her feet like she was a goddess. He slid up her body kisses leading the way to her neck. He spread her legs slowly "May I? " asked his left hand hovering over her she didn't look at him she held her eyes closed tightly and nodded.
