Just Ask ( Levi x reader)

Summary: Levi is head over heels cadet and wants to ask her out but has way too many fears to even build of the encouragement of even attempting to ask her out. Hanji and Erwin try to help but they are as clueless as Levi when it comes to romance. Maybe if he just asked her it would turn out alright.

There were a lot of things holding Levi back the range gap, the age gap, the fact that they were complete opposites, that fact that he had a stone cold heart, the fact that she probably feared him like everybody else. There were a lot of things to his disadvantage that just left him stalking her.

At the age of 17 she was one of the many cadets that pass through and wanted to be in the survey crop but she seemed to be the only one Levi notice. And not for her skill but her beauty.

what is an angel? he thought the first time he saw her but what he actually said is "why are you here, what branch do you want to join, why?"

"I have no other family left sir no one left to care. I want to be in the survey crop because I want to go outside the walls sir there's no reason to stay here. Plus I bet the air is fresher out there". it is.

He was a fucking Stalker.

He got all her files read them so many times he comes recite them to anyone who asked for them.He knew everyone she hung out with and her daily routine. He knew everything about her except how to make a move on her. Trying to get close to her Levi ended up begging Erwin to put her on his squad which in turn got Erwin and Hanji involved. They tried to help Levi ask (y/n) out but they were just as clueless as him. Hanji got all her tricks from romantic books and Erwin had no experience what so ever. Erwin suggested pick up lines.

It was right after dinner(y/n) was making tea for everyone. Levi had walked in a few minutes early and was watching her she had yet to notice him. She hummed a soft tune as she made the tea Levi didn't recognize the tune but found it lovely either way. Levi decided to make his presences known, bad idea.

"(l/n)" with a squeal and a crash, Levi was on the floor and over in tea.

"Oh, my captain I am so sorry. I didn't hear you come in" (y/n) helped Levi up and began to try and clean him up, it was black tea this wasn't going away.

"It's fine, it's fine. I don't mind getting dirty for you. " she stopped he couldn't see her face he assumed she was shocked disgusted and weirded out. clearing his throat " clean this mess up". And with that, he ran away. Pick up lines weren't his thing.

Next, it was flowers suggested by Hanji. Knowing he wouldn't be man enough to actually walk up and give her flowers He decides to leave them in places he knew she'd find them with a little note. He didn't know her favorite flower so she got every flower he could find.

She had Stall duty, a sunflower a note that said: " nothing can compare to your beauty, not even mother nature". She had dusting duty, a Lilly "even if you're not mine I thank god every day for making you". Bathroom duty, Tulips "sorry, this is no place for an angel". Kitchen duty, Dahlia " dinner would have been better with you". In front of her door, white rose " what I'd do to just listen to your heartbeat". On her bed, A stem of cherry blossoms "you don't know what you do to me. The moment you walk into a room it's as if time stops you are all that matters and all that ever will". Levi was much more romantic on paper, with the help of Hanji, and he had a large selection of flowers, thanks to Erwin.

The next suggestion was spending time with her, don't think Levi fully understood what they meant. He tried to punish her more not knowing how else to get her to spend time with him. He'd punish her and making her come to his office to do paperwork or clean it even when most of the paperwork was done or the place was already clean. He enjoyed her presences even if she did nothing her just sitting there warmed his heart.
