Right of Mind Part 2 ( Loki x reader)

Warning: fluff, sadness, mental breakdown

Summary: The Avengers have taken Loki and in the midst of battle all he can think about it you. You're at home alone all you can think about is Loki eventually it becomes too much.

"He didn't do it " (y/n) stomped and pouted in front of Thor. The rest of the Avengers were on the porch talking to Loki they were surprised to see he was will to come and help, but still suspicious. Though Loki did not commit the crime they thought he did he did have connections to who did.

"he didn't do it"

"I know and so do the others. But he knows who did and that's why he must come with us. I promise you he will return." Thor said placing a hand on her shoulder it was then he noticed the ring on her finger he took her hand an examed it. He recently learned that on earth if one wished to claim another they had to put a ring on their lover 4th left finger. "This is beautiful. Did he..." (y/n) smiled

"yes, he asked just before you came"

"Congratulations," Thor said hugging her. He was ecstatic to see his brother in love and actually finding stability. But also shameful he and his friends had just swopped in and ruined their moment. They should be celebrating with each other instead they were taking him away.

"Thor" Steve called him "we're leaving now"

both Thor and (y/n) walked inside to see the Avenger heading for the jet. Loki came forward to her he hugged and Kissed her "I will be back, okay. I love you and I'll come back to you. We still have to celebrate" he smiled and kissed her softly "I'm going to help them and then come back to you. I'm going to take you to Asgard."

"Reindeer games lets go" Tony called forward

"we'll marry in Asgard. You'll love it. It's almost as beautiful as you"

"Loki" Steve called. Loki kissed the back of her hand and started to back away to the jet.

"Don't worry I will return him" Thor reassured her. He would return his brother no matter what.

"Congratulations brother," Thor said taking a seat next to Loki

"congratulations to what?"

"your fiancé. You just proposed did you not?'

"wait a minute, you're getting married some is actually marrying you after what you've done," Tony said in complete disbelieve.

"Yes, Stark someone wishes to marry me and ignore my past. Do you have something to say about it?" Loki sassed

"Actually I have a lot to say but Steve said I better be nice so..... good luck"

She cleaned, she cooked, she worked. (y/n) did everything she could to distract herself from the fact that Loki was not here. It was strange doing all these things without someone falling behind or watching her. (y/n) had gotten comfortable with Loki in the past year so comfortable it felt odd not having him here.

She waited for rude remarks and insults or words of admiration and praise but got nothing. She didn't hear anything. It was quiet, too quiet. She couldn't handle it she couldn't handle the silence, she wasn't use to the silences. She couldn't take it.

"AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH" she dropped to her knees in the middle of the kitchen and screamed at the top of her lungs.

She shouldn't have let him go. She shouldn't have let them take him. She should have fought for him. She should have kept him. Now she was alone. She had never felt so alone before.

(y/n) curled up and passed out of the kitchen floor that night.

In the midst of battle, all Loki could think about was (y/n).

How was she doing? was she okay? did she resent him for leaving so quickly? would she be waiting for him once he returned? how would she react? what was she doing right now?

Loki was in the midst of battle bullets flying past his head and all he could think about was what was (y/n) doing?

Running towards the fire he was thinking was she awake?

Slitting throats taking out enemies he was thinking how was she doing?

Honestly, in the midst of battle, he was not in the Right of Mind but he couldn't help it he had nothing but her for a year. It couldn't just turn off his love after loving her for so long after having such a beautiful moment before leaving. He was so in love he wasn't even focused on battle. He was physically there but mentally he was with (y/n) he was home.

"BROTHER" Thor shouted pushing his brother out of the way of a tanks blast but taking some of the blasts himself. Thor's Hammer demolished the tank in minutes.

"Brother," Loki said " why did you do that now you're hurt" he examed his brother's wounds. He was a god so there wasn't much damage but still, the thought of him taking the hit was enough to give Loki a guilty feeling, and Loki never really felt guilty before. This was his fault he wasn't paying attention and now someone was hurt. His brother was hurt.

Taking his earpiece Loki called for a medic for Thor and told the team he would venture forward and he did.

(y/n) woke up to the feeling of being lifted at first she was shocked and scared " It's okay , darling, it's okay" It was Loki. He picked her up from the kitchen floor and took her to the bedroom. "I how long have you been there," he asked referring to the floor "since the day after you left"

"My love, that was three days ago"

"I'm sorry I... I was so alone I couldn't- I couldn't -"

"no, no you have no reason to be sorry. I shouldn't have left you so suddenly so easy. I am sorry. But I'm here now and I'm not leaving anytime soon. I love you"

"I love you too"
