Summary: Tony flies to save reader but she doesn't want to be saved.

She didn't change her pace as she noticed the group of men following her she didn't change direction as she noticed their numbers increases from 2 to 4 to 6. She stayed calm and turned left. She turns into the alley it was a dead end but she was calm. "Hey sweetheart, you shouldn't be out alone its dark" one said "yeah you could run into bad people" another spoke they all laughed. (y/n) backed up so her back was to the wall. She was still calm.

"I think I'll be fine gentlemen but you might need a doctor" (y/n) whipped out two batons and got in a fighting stance but the boys weren't paying attention to her they were looking up. She groaned as she heard the all to the familiar sound. The boys screamed running away.

(Y/n) groaned and began to leave the alley she didn't get far before she was picked "put me down, Tony"

"I will," he said but continued to fly. Once they landed on the tower (y/n) walked off to their room.

"Hey baby, where are you going? come on I just saved you. Those guys were trouble" Tony said following her to their room.

"I know Tony. I was looking for trouble and guess what I found them. I could have handled them." She said as she went to the bathroom starting a shower

"I know you could-"

"No, No you don't know Tony. I'm an Avenger just like you, I can make men bend to my will. I can save the day just like you. and that's why I'm done talking to you" (y/n) slammed the bathroom door.

"why the fuck are you mad? I'm the one who should be mad I ran down there and saved your ass for the third time this week and IT'S FUCKING TUESDAY" Tony banged on the door repeatedly big mistake. The door swung open and (y/n) stood there looking like she was about to raise the flames of hell but Tony wasn't backing down "you are always jumping into danger or looking for trouble looking for an adrenalin rush. Do you know what that fucking does to me? I don't know if you're going to get hurt or worse. And it's not like you're going to listen to me so at least let me try to help. I'll stop trying to save you if you let me help."

"I don't need your help I can do it myself I-"

"I CARE ABOUT YOU SO SHUT THE HELL UP AND LET ME SAVE. I love you and can't imagine my life without you" Tony pulled her into a hug (y/n) signed and wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Tony-"

"I know you can save the entire world but I want to save you and if I can't do that let me help keep you save at least"

She smiled "Tony, I love you and I'll always need your help" she kissed him gently "tell you what I'll stop my nightly trouble search if you help me in the shower" she giggled as Tony picked her up and she wrapped her legs around his waist.

"You don't have to tell me twice."
