And the other Avenger, besides Bruce, Know nothing of her that is until Hydra gets a waft of her and Stark's relationship and snatched her up. "you know a young lady like yourself shouldn't drink"

Tony landed on the roof of the apartment building and stepped out of his iron man suit and sat on the ledge next to the young lady. " a young lady like yourself shouldn't be smoking" he said taking a beer from the pack in between them " Bite me, iron douche" the young lady said taking a puff from her smoke. Neither of them said anything after that they sat drank and smoke together in silence. This was something they did every time life wasn't doing them well which was pretty much every day for both of them, so every day around 2 am they meet each other on the roof her apartment building smoke and drank. Tony didn't care for her smoking, it was a weed, but surely didn't approve of the drinking and told her that stopping her, on the other hand, wasn't something he was going to do because after all she been through this kid seriously needed a drink.

"why are you here tonight" the young lady, (y/n), asked taking a puff of her smoke

"couldn't sleep figured I'd come here talk to you get drunk then go home and pass out," Tony said taking a swig of his drink. He figured it would be better to get drunk and pass out now than pass out during tomorrows mission. " had a nightmare...I don't remember what it was but I don't want to go back to sleep anymore. how about you, why are you here?"

"mom is a sleep her new boyfriend isn't I figured I'd hide up here until he fell out then go back to the usual routine of making sure mom doesn't choke in her sleep" (y/n) said passing Tony a tablet on it showed a video of a man sitting on a couch in nothing but boxers with a beer in his hand watching TV, he figures that was the new boyfriend, swiping the screen a video of a woman in bed came up, and that was mom, he gave the tablet back.

"your mom sure knows how to pick them" Tony chuckled

"yeah she does"

"my offer still stands," Tony said referring to the offer of letting her stay with him that he gave to her several years ago back when she refused the offer and today she was doing the same.She has taken his offer of help in school as well as financially, if completely necessary.

Tony and (y/n) had been best friends since she was 9. On a trip to New York, Tony had hit her with his car not that hard, but she did basically fly down the street, after the accident he tried to take her to the hospital but she refused he ended up taking her to his hotel he patched her up and she spent the night there. They just talked about science stuff and cars the two got along pretty well that night, well enough considering she was 9 years old. The next day Tony dropped her off at her house giving her his number along the way when he returned to Miami he called her, the weird grown man calling a 9-year-old like an R-rated Catfish episode. Over the years the friendship had grown to the point where Tony actually flew her out to Miami one summer, her mom thought she was at Summer Camp, that summer Pepper, Rhodey, and Happy found out and all three of them scolded Tony but at the end of the day they made sure it was appropriate and left him alone.

The two continued their friendship even when their shit hit the fan they tried to pick up their shit and reorganized it together as best they could. So far it was going good and their shit was organized they were just trying to fix it with like tab and glue, translator to weed and alcohol, and was sticking together surprisingly well. Even if their type of 'glue' was technically illegal for (y/n). Tony did promise to take her to London on her 18th birthday so she could legally get wasted. Tony and (y/n) were the weirdest and most fucked up pair of best friends ever and the two wouldn't have it any other way.
