Akurei giggled gleefully as she sent Kidoumaru flying with an unexpected kick to his face, wasting no time to spin around and punch Tayuya. The red head flew back against the wall and slid down, growling lowly only to see the green haired girl gone.

Jiroubou grunted when he felt arms snake around his thick neck and tighten, his centre of gravity shifting and toppling him over. Akurei swung them backwards and laughed when she heard his head crash throug the roof.

Rolling out of the way, she sent three kunais at the spider man and ducked when he spat webs at her, catching the kunais. She whipped out her katana and mercilessly sliced at Tayuya, who also dodged and rolled away.

"That's enough." Sakon's clipped tone ordered and Akurei snapped out of her fighting frenzy, seeing the double headed man hold sasuke upside down by the ankle. Parts of the roof around the two was wrecked and smashed into splinters, surprising her.

Akurei met eyes with her friend and cocked her head to the side, resting the dull side of her katana on her shoulder. She saw him twitch and face contort into pain, Sakon's lips curling in disgust and tossing him against the wall.

The green haired ANBU flashed behind him and caught him, glaring at Orochimaru's henchmen.

"What do you two want to do? And say it fucking clearly. Are you coming with us or not?" Sakon's snapped and Akurei's glower grew darker, seeing the 4 flinch.

"There would be no point in forcing you to come with us. Orochimaru-sama is so troublesome... the boy's so weak, I just want to kill him already." He muttered and Sasuke stood up, a low growl rumbling in his chest. Akurei caught black markings crawling along his pale skin.

"Just come and try." Sasuke snarled and Akurei stood up too, seeing the 4 henchmen stare at him with surprise. He had his Sharingan activated, the two wheels spinning with a furious expression on his face.

"You've... the Curse Seal..." Sakon murmured and the Uchiha lunged forward, fist pulled back when a loud crunch echoed through the night sky. Akurei looked up and raised an eyebrow at the sight.

"You're not the only one Orochimaru-sama has set his eyes on." Sakon chuckled, half his body covered with squiggly line pattaerns.

"It looks like you have no control of the Curse Seal yet. If you release it for an extended period of time then bit by bit, the Seal will consume your body. You're still in the First Stage, so the process is still very slow. Once it completely consumes you, you will lose your sense of self... forever." He explained and Sasuke's frown deepened as he glared at them.

"In exchange for power, we had become Orochimaru's servants. We have already lost our freedom. In order to receive something, then you must almost sacrifice something in return so. What's your purpose? Will you forget your goal and spend your life with your friends in this cozy village, licking your wounds?" Tayuya taunted and Akurei hummed.

"I will tell you about Itachi." She said and Akurei and Sasuke's head snapped up.

"Never forget your purpose. This village is just a hindrance to you both, so cut your ties with your useless acquaintances. This is the only way you will become stronger. Don't forget your purpose." Sakon warned and leaped up into the air with the other three, disappearing into the night. The serene silence filled the passed between the two friends as they sat against the wall.

"You're actually considering it." Akurei stated and Sasuke glared at her.

"Shut up. They're right." He growled and she turned her head, her green eyes piercing and empty.
