Riley's POV
We are in my driveway, when James let's go of my hand and picks me up and spins me around.
"Put me down!" I scream.
"Sorry Riles, but the answer is no!" He laughs.
"James, I swear, put me down!" I shriek, but start laughing.
He puts me down on my doorstep. It's still raining, and we are soaked to the bone. He stares into my eyes.
"What?" I ask laughing and look away.
He titls my chin up with his finger so I face him. He kisses me softly on the lips.
"Don't stop." I groan and laugh when he pulls away.
"What are we?" He asks.
"What do you mean?" I question.
"Are we back together?" He asks.
"Do you want to be?"
"I wouldn't be asking if I didn't want to." He says.
"You seriously did not say that." I laugh.
"So, are we?" He questions. I don't respond but lean up and kiss him instead.
"I'm guessing that's a yes." He says after we pull apart. I don't say anything but kiss him again instead. He kisses me back. His hands hold my waist and I wrap my arms around him.
"Oh, hi James." We pull apart and see my mom standing in the front doorway.
"Um, hi." He says sounding embarrassed. "Well, I should go I guess. Bye Riles."
"Bye. Text me after." I respond.
"I will." He says and leaves. I walk into the house.
"Sorry about that." Mom says. I laugh.
"It's no big deal." I respond. I actually didn't really care if she seen us. I was too happy to be embarrassed.
"So, are you two back together?" Emily says. I hadn't even noticed her standing there.
"Maybe." I say grinning, and than I run up the stairs to my room.
