James POV

"How about this?" Riley asks me, pulling out a short dress from her closet. A really short dress. I frown.

"Defiantly not." I reply. She sighs and rolls her eyes at me. I insisted on helping her pick out what she was going to wear on her date with Charlie.

"James, this feels weird." She says.

"What?"

"My boyfriend helping me pick out an outfit to wear on a date with another guy." She replies.

"Well, I can't have you looking too perfect!" I explain. She giggles and puts the dress back into the closet.

"Well, what am I going to wear than?" She says, sighing dramatically.

"Jeans and a hoodie." I reply smirking. She crosses her arms and leans against the wall and stares at me, her face expressionless. I lean back on her bed and give her te same blank look. After about five minutes of just staring at each other, she shakes her head and turns to the closet again.

I get off of the bed and hug her from behind, burying my face in her neck.

"Stoooop." She whines, and starts giggling.

"I will 'stoooop' if you 'stoooop' stressing out over what to wear on a date when you have a perfectly good boyfriend already!" I reply.

"James, your making me mad." She warns.

"I don't care!" I laugh. I start tickling her and she starts squirming.

"James! I swear! Please stop! Please!" She begs as she laughs. I don't stop, until she falls to the floor crying.

"Oh Riles, I'm sorry!" I cry. She stays on the floor, face down, until I hear her laughing. She turned to face me.

"Gotcha!" She laughs. I help her up and she quickly pecks me on the lips. I do the same to her. She smiles and kisses me again. I start to kiss her back, when she pulls away.

"Okay, enough." She says.

"Why?" I whine.

"I still need to figure out what to wear." She sighs, sitting down on the bed. I groan.

"Seriously?" I mutter.

"Yes!" She cries, clearly starting to get agitated. She lies down on the bed staring up at the ceiling. I sigh and check the time on my phone.

"Well, just nothing too nice. I need to go now though." I tell her. She rolls over on her side and stares at me.

"Can you lie down with me first?" She asks shyly.

"I need to get going Riles." I tell her.

"Please." She asks, giving me a sad look. I couldn't help but smile to myself. It wasn't that often that Riley got into the cuddly mood like this. When she gets sad and upset if I turn her down and she gives me the cute puppy dog face that I can't say no too. But first, I want to joke around.

"Riley." I say, pretending to be stern.

"James." She whines.

"I've got better things to do than be stuck with you." I say jokingly, pretending to sound annoyed.

"Please." She whimpers , a single tear slipping down her cheek, her lip starting to quiver. She looks so upset, yet so cute, I couldn't stand it anymore.

"Alright, you guilted me." I say, lying on the bed next to her. She smiles and moves over so she was closer to me. She lays her head on my chest and intertwined her hand with mine. I put my other arm around her and draw circles on her back with my fingers.

After an hour of cuddling, I check the time again.

"Okay, I really need to leave now Riley." I say. She sighs sadly.

"Okay." She replies. I kiss her head and get off of the bed.

"I'll text you later." I tell her. She nods. She lies on her back and stares up at me. I lean down and quickly kiss her lips.

"Bye babe." I say, going through the door.

"Don't call me babe!" I hear her yell. I chuckle to myself and leave.

Riley's POV

After James left, I felt kind of depressed. I guess I just wanted someone to talk to, so I go into Emily's room.

"Hey." I say, walking in.

"Oh, hi Ri." Emily replies, spinning around on her desk chair to face me. I sit on her bed.

"What are you doing?" I ask her.

"Nothing. James gone?" She asks. I sigh.

"Yeah." I say sadly.

"Are you okay?" She asks.

"Yeah I'm fine. I just feel sort of depressed." I admit.

"About your date with Charlie tomorrow?"

"How did you find out?" I question.

"Um, everyone knows." She says, as if it was completely obvious.

"But how?" I ask out loud.

"Charlie's been telling everyone in the studio. He has it online too."

I whip out my phone and check Facebook. Sure enough, his most recent status says how he was excited for our date.
