Riley's POV
"Riley, can I talk to you in my office please?" Kate calls from the doorway of her office. I do as I am told, and walk in.
"What do you need to talk about?" I question as I sit down.
"Well, as you know, James and Beth are doing a duet for a small competition coming up." She starts out.
"Yes, I know." I uttered.
"Well, I decided to enter a second duet for the competition." She tells me.
"Wait, but wouldn't it be like our studio is competing against itself?" I speculate.
"Yes, that's true. But it's also a second chance to get first." She adds.
"Yeah, I guess that makes sense. But what do I have to do with this?" I ask.
"Well, I asked Charlie from B troupe to do the other duet, and I told him he can pick his duet partner. And he insisted you." She says. "Can you please do it? It will mean a lot to me if you do it. And to Charlie."
"A-alright." I stammer.
James isn't going to like this...
