James POV

Riley flashed me a cute smile as she passed by me the next day at dance. It was like she was torturing me. I just want to go over and kiss her, but I can't because we're on a 'break'. I smile back and walk over to the guys.

"How are you?" West asks.

"Um...Fine, I guess? Why what's up?" I ask curiously.

"No, we just assumed you would be pretty mad that Riley and Charlie went in a date last night." Daniel explained. I turned to Eldon.

"You told them?!" I exclaimed. He backed up a bit.

"Charlie told everyone in the studio! It wasn't hard for them to find out!" He claimed. I sigh and rolled my eyes.

"So, everything still good between you and Riley?" West asks.

"Yeah, kind of." I shrug.

"You never got mad with Riley after the date?" Eldon asks.

"Why would I?" I question, not letting on that I had gotten mad with her.

"Well, it just seems like you always get mad with her for no reason. Your just really controlling over her." West says.

"I am not!" I cry defensively.

"Are you kidding? Riley can't do anything and your constantly texting her asking her where she's to, who's she with, and what's she's doing, and if you don't like it, you get mad with her! That's controlling!" Daniel tells me.

"That's not true!" I growl.

"James, you made me go and stalk her and Charlie last night!" Eldon speaks.

"You know what? Just stay out of it! Go get your own relationship to worry about if your so concerned about mine!" I cry. I start to walk away, just when I hear Daniel say,

"It's a wonder that he never hit her before."

That's it. But I need to hold back any urge to go back and tell them off. I storm into the hallway, not looking where I was going, and I bump into someone. Riley.

"Oh, sorry." She exclaims.

"Nah, it's fine. It was my fault anyway." I tell her. She nods and starts to walk again, but I grab her arm.

"How's your face?" I ask. She looks confused. "W-where I, um, punched you last night." I explain, saying the last bit quietly, unhappy that I admited it aloud.

"Oh! Um, it's fine. Yeah..." She says quietly. She touches her jaw with her hand. I move her hand away and touch the bruise. She tenses and moves my hand away.

"We, um, should be getting back now." She mumbles. She turns to walk.

"Wait, Riley?" I call after her.

"Yeah?"

I run up and press my lips to hers, just for a second. I pull away.

"I, um, I just had to do that." I say softly. Than I walk back into Studio A, leaving Riley there speechless.
