Before I started officially writing this book, I wrote little excerpts for it. Just small snippets of things I thought I might add, and well, they don't really fit here anymore. But, it's those little writings that inspired this, so it seems unfair to not add them at all. This chapter, I'm going to be adding some of them. And a few more chapters from now, I'll do it again. So, here it goes. Firstly, a few poems I really liked.

"Don't gain the world "In three words,

And lose your soul- I can sum up Everything

Wisdom is better than I know about Life;

Silver and Gold." It Goes On."

~ Bob Marley ~ Robert Frost

"Morning's first light is gold,

Her hardest hue to hold.

Her early leaf's a flower,

But only so an hour.

Then leaf subsides to leaf,

And Eden sank with grief.

When dawn goes down to day,

No nothing gold can stay."

~Robert Frost.

Next, A Poem I wrote. When you've read it, read it again from the bottom up.

Different

"You'll never make it"

Believe them when they say

You don't have to

Work hard and

If you want to get better

It will never work

You're lazy and unmotivated

Because

You compare yourself to others

You want to be an artist

But you'll never do it

As an engineer or manager

You'll make more money

Follow the path your parents took

Be just like everyone else

I know they say

Being different is good

But they just don't understand

They know best

They think

Art is useless

They say

I agree when

I don't think

I care

When they tell me I'm useless

I know it's true

I'm an artist

They don't know

What that means

I stay quiet

Only some know because

I am Different.

Now just a random blurb I found in a notebook of mine.

"It's cold," I state blankly; my way of saying there's a lot on my mind and I need a hug but instead I'm going to say that I'm cold so you'll give me one anyway.
