A/N Welcome to the Territories Series. I wanted to let you know that this series merges with my Hunter series. NO you do not have to read both but it would help you gain more understanding on the characters and their life challenges. The Territories Series is an adult series and I HIGHLY recommend that readers are at least 17+ where the Hunter Series is more towards a Youth Adult. Now with that said the preferred reading order is:
New In The Territories
Lost In The Territories
Born Howling
Torn Between Packs
Visiting Other Territories
I have also written a novella with a second on its way which gives an insight on the beginnings of some characters:
Nate & Mady Territories Series
Alpha of the Borns , Nikko's story Hunter Series
Hope you enjoy
It's was just a house. No, not just a house. My life. No that wasn't true either. It's was my past. The life I no longer had. A life I no longer owned. Memories...Good and bad. Memories that kept me from moving forward. They would never have wanted me to live like this. I was moving on for them. Being strong for them.
Looking straight ahead the door seemed to close on its own free will. Leaving the familiar scents and the final echoes of laughter behind. The laughter I would only hear in my dreams. Throat tight, eyes hot with tears threatening to spill over. "No more tears, I'm stronger than this!" Chastising myself. Deep breath in, deep breath out. Squeezing my eyes shut, I refused to shed any more tears. Giving myself a mental shake before heading towards the awaiting car.
"I will not live in the past. I will live for tomorrow. One minute, one day, one week at a time...Great pep talk Sam, now if you could believe it yourself... Ahh. I really had to stop talking to myself before someone decided I belong in a mental institute." Taking a deep breath, closing my eyes, and reached for the place that I had lived in since that horrible day. The dark void began to fill my thoughts, embracing the cold numbness as it began to seal up the deep crack within my chest, that crack that started to seep open with the flood of memories I wanted to...not forget, but have them be less painful. Embracing the void with open arms the ache in my beating heart started, ever so slowly, to dwindle. Swiping away the single tear that escaped with the back of my hand, I climbed into the car without taking in that last glimpse of my past. The future was waiting. The very uncertain but welcomed future. That was what I kept telling myself.
