Concentrating on not losing my lunch all over the mat as the pain rolled my stomach, the commotion barely registered. What felt like an hour that went by I started to feel pretty confident that I was not going to throw up everywhere. I was able to take a final deep breath before opening my eyes. The room didn't spin and my stomach didn't make any protest. I could see Mady's knee beside me, felt her hover but not touch me. That I was more grateful for then I could express. Her soft voice started to become more clear but the others voices were louder. It was those angry voices that helped me lift my head. It was the pain in Dmitri's eyes that helped me focus.

Once I started to get to my feet Mady every so cautiously put her arm around my waist and helped me up the rest of the way. Testing my legs, believing they would not give out, I took a step towards the three arguing men. I didn't like what I saw. It looked like a fight between Dmitri and Mason with Nate standing in the middle acting as the referee. Enable to make sense of the words being shouted, due to the pounding of blood in my ears. Before I tempted to speak I had to clear my throat, "Dmitri. Mason." My voice was sounded harsh, barely louder than a whisper. I was afraid of being louder and letting the last bit of control slip and start to ball like a baby. Not heard, I inhaled deeply getting ready to scream for their attention. Before I even finished inhaling, the argument settled into what you could considered as an apology.

Repeating their names with more force this time, they bombarded me with questions, all which I easily ignored. Focusing on Mason, I choked out, "He didn't hurt me, well in less you considered him having granite for that head of his." I really did try to smile but the pain just would not let up. Rushing to my side, Dmitri placed his hands on either side of my face as if I was a fragile doll, placing a kiss on my forehead. "Baby I am so, so sorry," he whispered into my hair.

"It's OK. Is everything with you guys alright?" I asked, looking between Dmitri and Mason trying and failing to keep the pain out of my voice and the keeping the tears locked up that threatened to fall.

Looking at Dmitri first then responding to the question. "We're fine. I just got a little carried away when I heard you scream," Mason admitted sheepishly.

"Good. Do you think I can go to the doctors now to see what I did to my arm?" I asked, and headed for the stairs before anyone could answer.
