Layah's P.O.V.
Finally reaching the group, Bella said, "I smell cheap perfume." I began to sniff.
"No, that's just hoe you're smelling Bell." said Kayla and I stifled a chuckle.
"Uhm, who you calling a hoe?" asked one of the girl.
"If the boot fits, lace that muthafucker up and bounce!" Kayla said angrily, but this time I laughed out loud.
"Yeah, hop to it bitch." Bella said.
After the girls saw the guys laughing at them, they rolled their eyes and moved off.
"Yo Bella who are your friends?" asked one of the guys. I realized that was the guy I met in the pavilion earlier.
"Let Trey introduce me." said Kayla angrily.
"I ain't for the drama right now Kayla, so chill." Trey said annoyed. "This is my girl Kayla, and her friend Layah." I was surprised that he remembered my name. "These are my boys Kyrie, D'Jay and Marco." he introduced. I nodded my head greeting them. Noticing that there was clearly some tension left, I asked for something to drink. My move actually helped clear the air a little.
"Here ya go, ma." handed Marco? I think.
"Thanks" I said quietly as I began to sip on my drink.

Kyrie's P.O.V.
Not liking the way Marco was looking at Layah I started to talk to her.
"So, you were going to the volleyball meeting huh?" I asked, smiling.
"Yeah, thanks by the way. But you didn't say the corridor was that long." she said causing me to grin. Obviously not paying attention to my surroundings, it wasn't until I looked away from Layah that I realized that Bella had left, and Marco and D'Jay looked like they were arguing in the corner but I knew they were catching up. I continued talking to Layah, admiring how beautiful she was.
"So, I'm guessing you're the 'Star Athlete' huh?" she asked teasingly, which caused me to raise my eyebrow and laugh.
"Yeah, I guess so." I said sheepishly.
"You guess so?" she questioned, "you have a passion for something else?" she said looking in to my eyes. The look she gave me made it seem like she could see right through me. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Marco walking in this direction.
"Sorry if I'm interrupting something, but I gotta go mayne." Marco said giving me a dap.
"Already bro? It's not even 12 yet." I said looking at my watch.
"Yeah, gotta go on a mission." he said smirking.
"Aight mayne." I said knowing exactly what he was referring to.
"YO D, holler at me, aight?" he said. He then turned to exit and was swallowed into the crowd.

"Shit, Why is this girl not picking up!" I said exasperated. My mind was all over the place right now. Marco's offer sounds way too sweet to pass up but I don't want to get into no problems. 'But I need this money.' I thought. to myself. I heard someone approaching my direction and my thoughts stopped.
"Why you keep calling me? Weren't you busy playing with all your lil hoes?" Bella said causing me to smile.
"What you smiling for?" she asked clearly annoyed.
I grabbed her and pulled her into a hug. I gave her a million kisses on her face. "Awww, my baby jealous?" I said still holding her. She only blushed. "Don't worry ma, I got you." I said meaning every word. She looked at me like she wanted to say something. "What is it Bell?" I said rubbing her cheek.
"Did you mean it when you told me that you loved me?" she asked quietly.
"That's what's bothering you?" I laughed, "of course I meant it." I said holding her hands.
"I love you too" she smiled.
"Betters, bighead" I said.
"Why y'all keep calling me bighead?" she said causing me to laugh.
"Let's get out of here. I know a place we could go." she said with a smirk as we walked over to her car.
