"Last time we spoke, I was about to jump in and join you mayne." I said as I looked down at my feet which were dangling over the water. "It's been a really rough couple weeks. Hmph, I wish you were here so you could tell me what to do." I said waiting for someone to answer.

I sighed heavily and wiped my face hard. My phone rang bringing me back to the real world. It was Nicole. I should ignore her...but I'm trying not to fall back into old habits.

"H-hello?" she answered shocked. Shit, I was shocked too.

"Hey.." I said still looking at the memorizing blue water.

"I was just calling to tell you that I'm keeping the baby...you don't have to be in its life. Uhm, I was packing all my things. I'm leaving on Sunday." she said, causing my throat to tighten.

"Umm, okay. I want to be a part of its life. I will do anything I have to do to make sure y'all are safe and comfortable." I said genuinely.

It went quiet. "Okay...well, I'm moving back into town with grandparents, it's not that far from school. You could visit whenever, I guess." she said, unsure.

"Aight, cool. Just let me know when the first doctor's visit is okay?" I said.

"Okay, bye." she said. The line then went dead.

I looked out on to the open water, wondering what the hell I'm gonna do to support two babies. I sighed again. 'Something will come up.' I thought to myself.

I need to talk to Kayla.

Leonard's P.O.V.

It's been too quiet these past few weeks. Now that Cruz's clowns are back in town, and have been for a while, something ain't right. There's been no upsets or hiccup. Nothing.

I picked up my phone and called Layah.

"Hey dad," she said, answering on the second ring.

"Hey baby, what happen? Ever since you and Kevin got together, you don't have anytime to call me anymore." I said with a pout, hoping she could hear it.

She laughed, sounding just like her mother. "Dad, I told you to stop calling him Kevin." she said, causing me to shrug. "and noo, I'm never too busy for you...." she trailed off causing me to worry. "but there are some things I want to talk to you about. You know, about Alana and what you used to do." she said causing my throat to go dry.

"Hmm. Sure baby...maybe we could go for some ice-cream and talk." I said.

"Ice cream dad?" she asked as she giggled.

"Okayy, maybe dinner. What time is good for you?" And when was the last time you talked to Alana?" I asked.

"How about in a few hours, and I haven't talked to her since the dinner." she said guiltily, causing both my eyebrows to shoot up.

"Really Layah? Isn't she your coach? How could you not speak to her?" I asked concerned.

"Dad, there's a lot going on here, you know. I'll call later." she said.

"Hmm, okay. See you later baby cakes." I said with a grin, knowing she hated that name.

"Ugh, bye dad." she said and hung up the phone.

After a few minutes of silence, I called Alana.

"Hey..." her scratchy voice came through the phone. Just then, Abby knocked on my study with a box in her hand.
