-A few days later-

Alana's P.O.V.

I felt kinda bad for leaving the house early the other night...but I really had to be completely ready for the interview with Michelle.

-Flashback-

"She's beautiful." I said, looking at the photo of the infant.

"Yeah, she has her father's eyes." Michelle said with sad eyes. I quickly decided to change the subject.

"Soo how long until we can get the paperwork sorted out?" I asked smiling.

"My lawyer says a few days. It should be complete by Thursday." Michelle said a little spaced out. I tried not to pay attention to it.

"Okay, guess I'll see you on Thursday?" I said getting up and heading to the door. I stepped outside the office with a huge smile on my face. As soon as I landed on the concrete sidewalk, an overwhelming joy washed over me.

I'm gonna have a baby.

-End of flashback-

I checked my watch and it read 4:30 p.m. "I'll give her a few more minutes." I said to myself, trying to stay positive. We were supposed to meet at 2:30.

"Ms. Mitchell?" The receptionist asked, with a guilty look on her face. I instantly shot up and went to her desk. "I'm sorry to inform you that.... Ms. Major has withdrawn from the agreement." she said My heart fell and shattered and my eyes started to sting.

"NO! She can't do this! That's my baby!" I screamed, having a complete breakdown. "Can't we call the police or something?" I asked, desperately sobbing.

"Since she didn't sign any written agreement, legally...the baby is still hers. I'm sorry Alana." she said whole-heartedly.

My whole world went numb. Why do things happen to me? What did I do to deserve this? I know I've done some horrible things, but that was for my own survival.

It was pouring heavily outside. I gathered my things and headed for the exit. I stepped outside and let the pouring rain beat on me. I couldn't feel it anyway. I was too numb. I started walking, even though these heels were deadly and I had thought what a horrible decision it was to wear them, I walked until I felt the burning in my feet. Even when I felt the burning, I ignored it. I deserved the pain. I deserved everything that happened to me. I walked into the street, hoping that someone would end my pain.

A car was speeding and its bright lights blinded me. But the car came to screeching halt. 'Damn.' I thought to myself. Someone exited the car, but I couldn't make out their face because of the pouring rain.

"Miss, are you alright?" He asked putting the coat over his head. He was dressed really nice and had on some really expensive jewelry.

I didn't reply so he came closer. I caught a glimpse of his face as he move closer, my heart dropped.

Marco's P.O.V.

'Everything's going perfect.' I thought to myself. I'm running shit and money is sweeter than ever. "Why didn't I look for this opportunity earlier?" I asked myself aloud.

I drove around the city, looking and checking the corners, trying to sum up some suspicious shit. Nothing surfaced, I just spent the day with D'Jay. He's my second in line, my ears in the streets, my representative. We running shit. I smirked at the last line.

I was about to change the radio when a familiar song came on. I wanted to change the station. I really wanted to. But the pained memories ran through my head.
