Alana's P.O.V.

-flashback-

"Hey sleepy head, you have to wake up." he said silently.

"Daddy, are we going to Uncle Row?" I asked rubbing my eyes.

"No baby, I'm taking you, your mom and your sister on a little vacation. But we have to leave right now okay baby girl?" He said smiling. He lifted me out the bed and placed on my shoes. "Okay daddy, but can we leave the baby. She cries a lot." I said seriously.

"No, now let's go baby." Dad placed me on his shoulder and we exited my room. We walked down the hall. He opened the front door and went to the car. He lifting me into the backseat of the car. He placed me in and buckled me in. Dad went back to close and lock the front door.

Mom whispered to me, "Hey hunny, sorry we had to wake you up so early, we just have to leave now so that we reach on time okay?" she said reassuringly.

"You got everything you need?" Dad asked. Mom only mumbles. Dad started the car and sped off, causing the gravel to scatter. In less than 3 minutes we were on the highway.

"Dad can you slow dowwwnn? You're going too fast." I whined.

"No Aliyah, I ca-" he was cut off from the sharp screams of Mom.

"LEONARD!"

It went dark and cold really fast. I woke up to my mom screaming my name, running towards me.

"MOOMM" I screamed back as I was being carried away. A man ran behind mom and hit her in the back of the head, causing her to fall to the ground.

"DADDDYYY!" I cried trying to move out of the man's grip.

"Your dad is dead little girl." the man said. I noticed his body on the floor with red stuff on his shirt.

"They all are." the man said with a smirk.

-end of flashback-

I was in a home.....Our new...I mean, the King's new home? So this is what I missed out on. I was sitting at the dining table staring blankly in no particular direction.

"Would you like some tea?" Abigail asked nervously.

"Yes..please." I answered quietly.

"Sooo, you're my.....sister?" Layah asked finally and partially confused.

"Apparently....yeah." I sighed.

"Why didn't you say something when we first met?" she asked with a bit of attitude.

"First of all, I thought you were dead. Last time I saw you, your car seat was thrown over in the bushes." I said hating to recall the night. She looked at me and crossed her arms.

"I hope you girls are getting along." I heard Leonard's voice say as he entered the room.

"Well we aren't having a girls chat" Layah mumbled, "y'all got some explaining to do. How could y'all hide the fact that I had a sister!" she yelled, upset.

Abigail walked into the room with my tea, "I put some honey in it, just how you like it." she said with a warm smile.

"Thanks." I gave her a small, smile back and took the teacup from her.

"HELLOOOOOO?" AM I TALKING TO MYSELF OVER HERE?" Layah screamed.

"That's enough Layah!" Leonard asserted.

Layah glared at him and said, "This is some bullshit." as she stormed off.

I hung my head down. I quite clearly understood that she doesn't like me as the new addition to her family.

"Don't worry about her, she's going to warm up to you sooner than you know it okay?" Abigail said rubbing my shoulder.

She then went to sit by Leonard. It seems so weird calling them Mom and Dad because I don't know them like that. At least not anymore.

They just sat there staring at me, probably trying to take in everything that has happened.

Leonard cleared his throat, "... Alana? Is it ?" He asked unsure so I nodded.
" Wh..What happened to you?" He said with his voice cracked. "I've been searching for you years after the accident. It.. it was like you vanished off of the face of the earth."
He said holding his head.
"I paid top dollar, to numerous private investigators .. patrol squads... search parties... but never found you." He said with water running down his face. Abigail was on the side of him crying and rubbing his arm, this is not an easy sight.

I cleared my throat and regain my composure. I started telling them about what happened to me, and how I was saved from the things that should've driven me crazy.
