Trey's P.O.V.

I'm trying to figure out what to order but these damn fools keep staring at me.

"What?" I asked, to my two best friends, a little irritated.

"Uhmmm, it's just that you've been acting weird for a few days and we wanted to know what was going on...?" D'Jay rambled, causing Kyrie to chuckle.

"What's up with you Trey?" Kyrie added.

"Nothing, I'm good. What about y'all?" I said nonchalantly looking at the menu again, trying to avoid the questions that were about to come. "By the way,...I got a job. First shift is tomorrow afternoon." I said, looking at them. Their jaws were practically on the table. I laughed.

"A j-job?" Kyrie stuttered.

"Yes nigga, a jooooobbb." I sounded out each letter in the word.

"Doing what nigga?" D'Jay said, shocked.

"Sales." I coldly responded, not wanting to go into any details.

"Hmm, well won't ya look at that. Our boy is finally a man." Kyrie said patting D'Jay's back, who was wiping away imaginary tears. I rolled my eyes. Just then a waiter came up to the table.

"Goodnight, my name is Sean, and I'm taking over from the last waiter. She had to step out." a familiar voice said. I looked up from my menu. When we caught eyes, my heart started to pound. 'Shit not here.' I thought to myself. "Would you guys like to order now?" he said, finally looking to me. His eyes opened widely.

"Uhm, I'll have the biggest burger y'all got, with some curly fries and a coke please." Kyrie said smiling.

Thankfully, they didn't notice that little encounter with the water.

"I'll have the same." I said, handing him my menu. He nodded his head and wrote down the order.

"What are you getting grandpa?" Kyrie asked D'Jay.

"I'll just have an order of wings, sweet potato fries and an iced tea." He said as he handed the menu to the waiter. After the waiter, left Kyrie and I looked at each other and I couldn't help but burst out in laughter.

"Iced tea grandpa?" Kyrie asked with a wide smile.

"Yesss, Iced tea. You know, tea with ice in it." he sassed.

"That's wack man." I said grinning.

"Whatever man. I just wanted him to leave. I can't stand that nigga." D'Jay said, causing both my eyebrows to shoot up.

"Why? He seems cool." Kyrie said, I nodded in agreement.

"He lived in Cranston where Marco is from. He was a real pain in my ass when I was younger." he said angrily.

"Sounds like Jay Jay had a bully." Kyrie said causing me to have a hearty laugh. After I caught myself, I saw both of them looking at me with stupid grins on their faces.

"What?" I asked.

"It's good to see you cheery again, man." Kyrie said.

"That moping around and drinking shit ain't for you." D'Jay added. I hung my head down, knowing that he was right.

"You right, it was a low period for me. But it's over now. I got other shit to worry about." I cleared my throat. "Y'all are my best friends and I need y'all to keep a secret for me." I said seriously.

"Of course man. We gotchu." D'Jay said.

"Y'all cant even tell your girlfriends." My heart clenched at that word. They both stared at the table and nodded their heads. I took a long breath. "I got Nicole pregnant." I said. Both of their jaws dropped open, I wanted to laugh but it was a serious issue. "and I got McKayla pregnant too." I trailed off.
