Trey's P.O.V.
-Saturday Morning-
This upcoming Thursday is the anniversary of my brother's death, and I'm feeling like pure shit. I'm beyond irritable and angry, but I've managed to keep my composure for the last few weeks around my friends, even Kayla. But this girl been tugging at my nerves a lot lately. Only so much nigga can take.
"Ugh, Treyyy. I'm borreedd." Kayla said as she fixed her hair in the mirror.
"The fuck? What do you want me to do about it?" I asked irritated.
She stared at me through the mirror. "No need for the attitude." she said, rolling her eyes.
I've been losing it lately. My grades are slipping and I'm really close to losing my scholarship. And this girl is in here bugging me the fuck out! I was so deep in my thoughts, I didn't even realize she was talking to me.
"Trey!" she yelled.
"WHAT KAYLA?" I screamed, really annoyed now. She stared at me. She swallowed hard, clearly hurt. 'Whatever, I don't have time for this shit.' I thought to myself.
"Are you seeing someone else?" she blurted out.
"What?" I said. 'I'm lost as hell.' I thought to myself. I scrunched up my face. 'So this isn't the same girl who was just flirting with some nigga on the soccer team?' I thought to myself. She needs to calm the fuck down and leave me alone. I picked up my phone and started to scroll through my messages. "Why does it matter?" I said, not looking up from my phone. I really didn't want to start anything with her.
She walked over and yanked the phone out of my hand. "Are you crazy girl?!" I screamed at her and gave her an icy, death stare.
"Listen to me Trey. Don't be having me out here looking like a fool. If you messing with someone else we should end this." She stated firmly. I was ready to leave her in this room, to be honest. I don't have time for this shit.
"Like I said, does it matter if I'm seeing someone else?" I said nonchalantly, trying to get under her skin.
"Yes it does matter! Because you got me out here looking like some fucking hoochie!" she screamed, turning red with tears pooling in her eyes.
'Fucking great.' I thought as I rolled my eyes. But I continues to listen to her rant.
"This Nicole bitch came up to me, with a stupid ass grin on her face saying that you and her be fuckin'." she said with tears streaming down her face.
I looked at her, knowing damn well that's exactly what I've been doing. Whenever Kayla goes on her little fits, I go to Nicole. "I don't know what you're talking about." I said denying her.
I stared at her realizing that I loved her, but I can't stand her. My head is all over the place. She deserves someone better, but I'm too selfish to let her go.
"This. Us." I said, motioning between me and her, "is not going to work. I shouldn't have fucked with your crazy ass from the beginning." I stated. I only said this to her to make her angrier and hopefully off my back for a few days so I could sort myself out.

Kayla's P.O.V.
I can't believe this. Trey bugging and has the fucking audacity to lie to me in my fucking face. I just stared at him. Not knowing what to say, I was a bit afraid and he was staring at me with intense anger.
"You know what? Never mind. I'll just leave." I said as I started gathering my things. I made sure not to bother looking at him either. He sucked his teeth loudly and mumbled something under his breath. As I was about to zip up my bag, he grabbed my hand. "Let me go." I hissed.
