D'Jay's P.O.V.

-Flashback-

"Mommy, how come I don't have Dad's last name?" I asked, putting on my knee pads.

"Because you're too precious to be anything like your father, now give me a big hug." She dragged, causing me to giggle.

"D'Jay! C'mon slow poke ." Marco called from the road.

"Moom, I gotta goo." I sang whilst she still held onto me.

"I love you so much baby, be careful okay?" she said with water in her eyes. I didn't think too much of it. I thought she was just being overdramatic as usual.

A familiar mustang pulled up to our gate and out came one of my favourite persons ever.

"Uncle Danny!" I screamed, running to him.

"My boyyy, Wassup." he said, picking me up swinging me around. I just giggled.

"Have you seen Daniel?" he asked, sternly.

"He's down the road playing with the other kids." I said, puling the straps on my elbow pads tighter.

His eyes opened wide. "Can you get him and hurry back home? We're going on a trip." he said, coolly. With excitement, I peddled down the road on my bike, looking for Marco. A black car droved slowly passed me, the rims looked pretty cool and the windows were dark.

"D'Jay!" Marco screamed, running towards me with fear plastered on his face.

"What's going on..?" Just then, gun shots rang off in the neighbourhood.

-End of flashback-

"Here lies Daphne Marie Harrison...October 23rd, 1970 to July 12th 2010."

I sat in the grass staring at my mom's grave, remembering her voice, her laugh and her love. I wished she was here to give me some advice. I chuckled. "If only you could see how much trouble I've gotten myself into now mom." I said as I shook my head rubbing the aged stone.

I looked around to see Bella staring at a massive tombstone.

"Mom, remember Kai's baby sister? Isabella, she's probably the only woman who could love me as much as you did. She's amazing just like you. I miss you ma." I said, starting to sob quietly. I placed the flowers on her grave and slowly got up, turning to walk over to Bella who seemed lost in a daze.

"Hey." I said, startling her, but genuinely not meaning too.

"Geez, you scared the life out of me. No pun intended." she said with a giggle.

I cracked a smile, "you cheesy as hell, you know that right?" I asked, wrapping my arms around her.

"Is this where your grandfather is buried?" I asked, softly kissing her forehead.

"Yeah, I've never met him, just heard stories." she said sadly, then sighed heavily.

Looking at her, I realized I hated to see her upset. "Listen to me, after tonight, let's take a break from all of this and let's go on a trip or something." I said, wholeheartedly.

She looked flustered for a minute, then she looked at me with those big brown eyes I came to love back when I met her in high school. "Okay." she said simply as she buried her face in my chest.

As we embraced, the sound of something clicking, like a camera caught my attention. I whipped my head around but couldn't see anything.

"Baby, what's wrong?" Bella asked, frantically.
