I woke up to the sun shining directly towards my eyes. I covered my eyes with my hands and groaned out loud.
Was yesterday a dream? It felt like I've slept and eternity. I felt laggy and my head was dizzy. I'd never felt like that after waking up from a sleep. I've always been a wake-early sleep-early girl, I've always felt fresh and awake, but now the feeling was a new experience.
As I was tying my hair into a high ponytail, my mom came barging into my room.
"Hey, you crazy girl! Why are you just waking up right now?", she said, causing a ruckus early in the morning.
"What are you talking about? Isn't it only 7 a.m?", I eyed her carefully.
"What are you talking about?! It's 11 a.m, you crazy girl!", my mother spat in front of my face. "And there's someone outside waiting for you, so hurry up and get dressed!", and she left my room.
I pinched myself to make sure I was fully awake. I checked the time on my phone, and she was right. It was 11.12 a.m. Geez, was I that knocked out?
I got out of my room and went downstairs to the living room to discover who had been looking for me this early in the day. I was still rubbing my eyes and I was aghast at who's in my house.
Suho.
He looked up and smiled at me. I pinched myself and got my act together. Suddenly, I was self-conscious. I was wearing my Hello Kitty pajamas (an ugly pair of it), my hair was undone and tied up high in a ponytail, I haven't brushed my teeth, I probably still have eye gunk and to sum it up, I looked like shit.
"What..the...annyeonghaseyo.", I bowed at him. He returned the gesture.
"What are you doing here? Are you supposed to wander in the neighborhood that recklessly?", I asked with disbelief in my face.
He examined me from head to toe with his eyes. He wore a pair of thin-rimmed glasses that day. My cheeks heated up at the view. He looked so handsome.
"Maybe you'd like to get ready before we talk?", he offered with a grin on his face. I reexamined myself and quickly ran upstairs without excusing myself.
After showering, I made sure to brush extra two minutes longer and flossed and gargled a bit of mouthwash. I never cared much of oral hygiene, ever.
I went down to find him associating with my parents. Their topic seemed very interesting, both of my parents felt so coaxed at the environment Suho created. His body language never was intimidating towards them. He was very...welcoming.
He noticed my existence and excused himself from my parents. He walked up to me until we're only inches apart.
"Can we talk in your music room?", he whispered. I couldn't breathe nor move, so I only nodded.
We entered my music room, in which there was a Yamaha electric keyboard, an acoustic guitar and a secondhand violin. It was small, but it was my safe haven. I stacked my music score neatly in a pile, so unnoticeable that you won't recognize it as a music score.
Suho closed the door behind us and my head was filled with awful thoughts. Why did he chose this place to have this 'important' discussion? Why did he not talk in front of both of my parents? Why did he close the door? What was it that he was trying to offer?
