If I Can't Have You... (An EXO fan fiction)

Chapter Six

"Hey, can someone order the jjajangmyeon?", Chen left the question hanging as he was doing something in his phone.

"I'll do it.", Chanyeol took out his phone and punched a few numbers. "Yes, I'd like nine bowls of jjajangmyeon to be delivered to...", his voice drifted as he walked away to a more silent spot. I sat uncomfortably on the comfortable couch. My feet were fidgeting and my hands were trembling a little. It was so awkward being around someone you didn't know well, let alone live in the same house. My head turned from one side to another. There wasn't much in this house, the lighting was good, there was good air, but stuffs were everywhere, whether it be clothes, hats, socks, even blankets! I shook my head at the messiness.

"Come on, Soojin, I'll give you the house tour.", Xiumin walked to my right and offered me a friendly smile. He was so polite and warm and I finally shook off my queasiness.

"Hey, I was going to do that! Hyung you thief!", Baekhyun pouted.

"You were busy bothering Chanyeol during his jjajangmyeon phone call, idiot! And if you do give Soojin the house tour, I'm sure you'll spill our ugly secrets and made something up about us.", Xiumin flicked his tongue out to Baekhyun. I laughed at their silliness.

"Aaahh...hyung.", Baekhyun nagged. We ignored him and Xiumin led the way around the house.

"So, as you can see this is the living room where we have the family meeting most of the time. On the right is the kitchen and the dining room. Usually Kyungsoo prepares the meal, so if you want to cook anything, please do ask his permission before you invade his kitchen,", he chuckled as I interrupted.

"Wait, who's Kyungsoo?"

"D.O.", he paused,"you...really don't know anything about EXO members do you?", he shook his head. I shook my head with embarrassment. I didn't even know my business partners well and I'd be living in the same house with them!

"It's okay, I'll explain it to you. My name is Xiumin, but my real Korean name is Kim Min Seok. Suho's Korean name is Kim Jun Myeon and Chen's Korean name is Kim Jong Dae. Even though Chen and I are in EXO-M, we're Koreans. Suho's the leader of EXO. Now, are we both on the same page?", he looked at me patiently. I was so flattered that someone like him was so patient on facing a dimwitted person like me. I nodded energetically.

"So, continue the house tour. After the kitchen, if you walk to the back there is a small terrace where we spend our time doing outdoor activities.", he opened the door and I could feel the night breeze as we descend on the staircase to an open field. I got satisfied of the view and we both got back into the house.

"I almost forgot, there is also one bathroom on the left of the living room, so you could wash up there, and there's another two bathrooms upstairs.", Xiumin explained,"now let's continue upstairs."

"So there are four bedrooms on the second floor, on your right is Suho Sehun's room, and beside their room is my room and Chen's; on your left is Kai and D.O.'s room and beside that room is Baekhyun and Chanyeol's and since you're moving in, you get to choose whose room you want to sleep in. Of course we would move out to other members' room, we wouldn't be sleeping in the same room because we wouldn't want to cause you any discomfort.", he quickly added. I smiled at his politeness.

We continued to the third floor, which was where the cleaning was done. There was a washing machine, an ironing pad and there were a lot of cardboard boxes piled on the corners.

"Now to get you settled, first, choose whose room you want to stay in. I'll be downstairs if you're finished reviewing, and I'll help you carry your luggage", he smiled at me. I thanked him for his hospitality.
