I finished the first song and it sounded better. I listened to their past winter album, Miracle in December, and added a few variations to make the song more of EXO's style. I grabbed all of my music scores and searched for songs with piano accompaniment, because I didn't want their whole winter album to sound sad and morose. I discovered one song I'd written a few months ago and decided to rearrange that. And then I realized there was no kind of piano nor keyboard. I hit my head for not bringing my own keyboard.

I adjusted the melody of my guitar to the song, as I didn't have any instruments to play around for rearranging the song. I checked the clock and it was 1:41 a.m. I never slept that late.

I was starting to yawn and I stopped working on the songs and crashed onto the bed. At that point, I didn't care whose bed I was sleeping on.

I woke up at 7 a.m and looked like hell. My eyes were so swollen and they had dark circles, which I never had. I tried going back to sleep but I couldn't. I guess it was my body clock dragging me out of my bed. I grabbed my toiletries and fresh clothes and went out of the room. I was faced a pillow-faced Xiumin, and he was still rubbing his eyes.

"Morning, Soojin. You woke up so early!", he yawned.

"You're early yourself.", I smirked at his unattractive morning face. He seemed to notice so he hit my head lightly with his index finger. I faked a pained face.

"But, are all your schedules this early? I bet the birds themselves haven't woken up.", I asked.

"Well, we usually leave the house at 9:30, so we'd arrive at around 10. I guess I'm just accustomed to waking early. It's like my biological clock.", he said exactly the same thing I did. I guess we had a lot more in common than I judged.

He let me take the shower first and he went outside to sprint around the open field.

I finished showering quickly and went into the kitchen to fix us a breakfast. I was shocked to find D.O. there. He was expressionless when I walked in the room.

"Morning, D.O.-ssi.", I carefully said.

"What's with the D.O. and the ssi? I told you to act casually. Just call me Kyungsoo or......whatever.", he grabbed some toast and put them inside the toaster. He sounded irritated. I wanted to beat myself up for being such an idiot. He specifically said to act casual and I repeated my mistake.

"Just sit down, I'll make you breakfast.", he said, still with a frown. I was flattered at his chivalry, that I didn't realize my heart skipped a beat. I quickly dusted off the thought and focused on sitting down.

I watched him from behind as he put on the apron. He grabbed the frying pan and turned on the stove. He went to the fridge and grabbed a carton of eggs and a half-eaten can of Spam. I kept watching him. Why did he look so attractive while he was cooking? I tried to shield my eyes from the view but I couldn't resist it. His hand movements were flawless, even though he was just frying eggs and Spam. He took out three plates from the shelf and laid it out on the table, then he grabbed the toast and set in on the plate and topped it off with the sunny-side-up and Spam. I didn't realize I was staring at him all the time.

"What are you looking at? Eat.", he pointed at the plate, which had been set in front of me. I didn't even realize. He started eating without another word.

I grabbed a fork and started munching on the toast. I didn't know what magic he produced but it was the best toast I had ever consumed. There was a crisp but there was also fluffiness, I couldn't quite put my finger on it. I tried the eggs and it was also well-seasoned. Not bland nor too salty.
