Crush: All Eyes On You

He was fixated on you. His eyes never left your face, with your eyes closed, hair stuck to your forehead by sweat, cheeks flushed from blood brought up by adrenaline.
You had your eyes closed all set, ignoring anything and anyone. Your mind focused on nothing but the music. Your fingers glided over the fretboard with ease as your voice slid through all the right notes like a knife to butter.
The way you were, in that moment, you were perfect. Or at least, to him you were perfect. Though he loved your radiant E/C orbs, he thought it was enchanting to see your eyes closed as you lost yourself to the melody you were emitting. He wished you'd never open them, for everything to stay the same in that moment.
Once you'd played through the song, however, your eyes fluttered open. They fell on him. The invite you sent him was just a fleeting hope. There were no expectations attached. And yet you saw his eyes staring back at yours, his lips smile as yours curled to do the same. The beautiful moment was almost too much.
Then, he grinned and popped his tongue out at you. You couldn't help but chuckle into the microphone before you fell back into what you were doing. Your fingers found their place around the neck of your guitar, and you mouth placed itself before the mic. This time, you decided to say something between songs. As the DJ started the backing track to 'The Only Exception', you waved your hand, asking him to stop.
"This ones for you, C/N," you beamed. Your set went on, and his eyes stayed with you. Everyone's eyes were fixed to you, but his gaze was the only one you kept your eyes open for.

Okay so this one is a bit shorter than the others but it's sweet and drama free so I thought it would be nice! I was wrong btw, I have two stories left NOW! Love you all and stay happy! 🦄🦄
