He saw it out of the corner of his eye; a constant flailing motion coming from the seat in front of him on the overcrowded bus. Although people were standing, there was one seat free and nobody wanted to take it. That was because of you. So lost in your music and your own little world, your air drumming had scared other people away from you. In all honesty, you hardly cared. In fact, you were glad that no one would dare sit with you. The space was a nice change from the usual on this bus. Perhaps you'd have to do this every day...
Taylor, however, wanted to sit with you even more because of this, being a drummer himself. If only Dave were here to see this, he thought.
As you listened to your music, you got bored of the song you were hearing, and your arms grew tired of the near-constant exertion. You decided it best to put a simpler song on, hitting 'skip' until you found it.
'We Will Rock You'
Perfect!
You cranked it up all the way, until you were quite sure everyone could hear it and started to whack out that ever familiar beat on your imaginary kit.
This was when Taylor got tired of waiting to talk to you. He'd seen you before, and he knew he found you attractive, but now? Now, he was all in.
He silently hopped over his seat, to the one next to your, and pulled out one of your earphones, promptly inserting it into his own ear without a word. Once he had worked out where you were in the song, he grabbed his imaginary sticks and started banging on his imaginary drums. Though you had faltered, wondering who the hell had the audacity to do such a thing, you decided to carry on, noticing that whoever this person was had joined you in your ridiculous activity.
Glancing over without stopping, you smiled at the surprisingly attractive man, sporting a long mop of blond hair and the goofiest smile you had every laid your eyes on. He met your gaze and grinned, launching straight back into the infamous beat.
Soon, the song came to a close and Taylor pulled out both his earphone, and yours.
He extended a hand in your direction.
"'Names Taylor," he grinned with a soft spoken can slight southern drawl.
With a delicate smile, you took his hand and shook it.
"Y/N. Great to meet you, Taylor."
A beautiful friendship was to blossom between you. And the rest, as they say, is history, my dear Y/N Hawkins.

Again, short, sweet and drama free! The next one is NOT like this at all. I hope you guys like it though! Love you all and stay happy! 🦄🦄
