A kiss. A smile. A shout. Then tears.
Finally, after years, Alan found the courage to kiss you. Unfortunately, your parents didn't want that to happen. As soon as it did, your father was there to stop it.
You were dragged away by your wrist, Alan protesting and you shouting, crying and fighting to get back to him. After everything you'd been through together, it was over so soon.
"You're not to see him," your father stated firmly.
"Why?!" You yelled, hurt and angry.
"Because I said so! He's a bad boy Y/N!" He shouted. You sobbed and pointed to your door.
"Get out..."
"What?!"
"Get. Out. You've just ruined everything I ever wanted. The least you can do is leave me be," you said calmly. Your voice was level as you told him to leave. He nodded and walked away.
Once the door clicked shut, you buried your face in your pillow and cried harder than you had in a long time.
*knock knock*
You heard tapping, or banging, on the front door hours after the incident.
"Let me see her," Alan demanded.
"Where are your manners, boy?" Your father spat.
"Where were yours when you dragged her away from me?!" He cried. "Let me past now," he insisted, more calmly.
"No."
"Fine!" Alan yelled.
You heard a struggle in the hallway and started to cry again.
Your bedroom door creaked open. To your surprise and delight, you saw a mop of ginger hair.
"We might wanna hurry this up," he laughed.
"I'm so sorry..." was all you could say about your fathers actions earlier in the day.
"It wasn't your fault, okay? Never blame yourself for the actions of IDIOTS!" Alan shouted the last part and you gasped, laughing.
"Alan! You'll get in more trouble with him than you already are!" You scolded.
"Get out of my house, you fiend!" Your father yelled.
Alan grabbed your face and pulled you close to him, kissing you gently. You smiled into the kiss, hearing your father growl in frustration. Alan pulled away and waved at you before pushing past your father and walking out of the house.
"He is not to see you. Ever again," he told you before leaving you with your thoughts and tears.
You screamed and threw your pillow at the door as he closed it.
~one week later~
You missed him. There wasn't a call or a text from him. Probably because your father had blocked his number.
It was dark outside when you checked the time.
10:00pm.
*tap, tap*
You heard the sound of stones on your bedroom window, so hurried to look and see who was throwing them.
"Open your window!" Alan yelled up at you.
"No! Go away! You don't want to get caught!" You shouted back, panicking.
"Who cares?! Just do it!" He laughed.
You shook your head slowly and opened the window as wide as it would go.
A large rock with a piece of paper attached with string landed on your floor with a thud.
You untied the string and unfolded the paper.
'Y/N, Will you do me the honour of getting the fuck out of this town with me?'
That's what the note said, with two check boxes under it: Yes and No.
Under those were the words 'CHECK YES!'
You smiled and rummaged for a pen.
You scribbled out the No box, tearing the paper a little and ticked the yes.
Folding the paper back up and tying it to the rock, you walked to your window and dropped it down to Alan.
He smirked at you as he looked at your answer.
"Come on then!"
You giggled and grabbed your purse, full of your savings and ran down the stairs.
"Let's get the hell out of here!" You said once you were out of your house.
"Not yet," he smiled.
Before you could ask why, he kissed you roughly. "That's for a whole week of us missing out," he chuckled.
You both heard the front door slam open.
"Y/N GET BACK HERE!" Your father screamed.
You and Alan looked at each other before shaking your heads, laughing and interlocking hands. "I swear to god, young lady! You will be punished when you get back!"
At this, you shrieked with laughter.
"Come back?! I'm not COMING back!" You giggled.
You saw Alan smile before you took off running.
"Where to?" You asked, a little breathless.
"Anywhere away from here," he shrugged.
You ran down the road and didn't stop until your fathers shouts couldn't be heard and your house was but a speck.
Now, the only place your family saw you was on the news. With your famous guitarist fiancé, Alan Ashby.
