the darkness of his dorm room is comforting, and he falls onto his bed face-first with a sigh. tears are still trying to push their way out of his eyes, but he doesn't want to let them. he can't let them.
he doesn't deserve to be upset. he should have known that if, which was unlikely to begin with, he were to see everett again, then of course the other boy would have moved on.
he hates that the emotions for everett inside of him have resurfaced, more powerful than ever.
