"you gonna tell me what happened?" preston leans back against the wall, watching aidan. his face is blank, neutral from any sign of judgement.
"we just talked. i don't know what we're going to do. half of me forgives him, but the other half isn't ready to just yet. i need time to figure it out."
preston sighs, shaking his head. "i know that you love him... just... be careful."
"thank you," aidan smiles a little, glad that he isn't getting reprimanded. "shouldn't you be getting ready for your date with that girl i was talking to earlier at the coffee shop?"
"vivian? yep."
"have fun tonight."
"likewise," preston raises a knowing eyebrow and grabs a fresh pair of clothes. he squeezes aidan's shoulder on the way out, yet aidan's smile falters a little when his phone chimes.
