aidan
"fiona isn't here tonight?" he asks, setting the pizza on the counter.
"she's out with her mother," everett responds somewhere else in the small apartment. he appears moments later and opens the box to take a slice of hawaiian pizza.
"i can't believe you like pineapple on pizza," aidan shakes his head, picking it off before shoving a piece in his mouth.
"it's good, and beside, it's not the most controversial topic in the world, so who cares?" everett steals the pineapple chunks from aidan's plate. "what movie did you bring?"
"you haven't seen spider man: homecoming, have you?"
"nope," everett smiles. "we're such guys, with our pizza and badass superhero movies."
"weirdo." aidan holds back a smile of his own, popping the disc into the dvr and throwing their plastic plates into the garbage, finally plopping down on the couch.
everett sits next to him, a dab of sauce on the side of his lip.
the movie begins, a great distraction so aidan doesn't do anything stupid.
