Flowing In The Silk
"Wow! This place is huge!"
Crystal had said, when they pulled up to what looked like a mansion. It was surrounded by a tall fence, and it even had a security guard with a building for the guards."Hey there Bill. How's it goin?"
Liam seemed to know the guard, he must come here alot, Scarlett thought. Did that mean Michael had been here before? She'd have to sneakily throw it into a conversation with him.
"It's pretty busy in there, my nights been pretty solid since I got here at 8. Go on in and enjoy your time!"
He opened the gate and Liam drove in, waving to the guard on his way past."You guys come here often?" Scarlett asked, waiting for Michael to say something. She wanted to wait til later to ask but she saw a place, so she took it.
"Ya, the band comes here whenever we are in town."
"Oh" Scarlett wondered how many times Michael had been here, when Liam said,
"This will be Michael's first time though. It's cool you get to experience it with him."She perked up to that. Looking over to Michael smiling at her, as he placed his arms around her shoulders.
"Are you cold?" Michael asked.
"No, just nervous. This place is breathtaking."The house was atleast 4 stories tall, and there were spotlights on the ground shining up on the walls to the home. Colored lights. Purple, pink, blue and yellow. Her eyes were wide, in wonder.
He just continued to smile at her, as well as the area around the house as they drove around to the front door, where they had valet waiting, with an awning to enter the home.
"That is so cool." Crystal said as she looked around with stars in her eyes.
They got out of the car, Michael got out first, and held out his hand for Scarlett to hold as she got out. Grasping it tightly, she gracefully got out. Everything she did, looked graceful. They walked in, handing the gentleman at the door their coats.
Looking over at Scarlett, Michael couldn't help but think how beautiful she looked, and he couldn't take his eyes off her the entire night. They were there to have fun, and he wouldn't waste a minute away from her. Tonight, she was his and he made sure of it.
"Scarlett, have I told you yet tonight, how amazing you look?"
"Oh Michael, stop it."
No Michael, don't stop. She thought. She didn't see him enough for her to be sick of it yet.Liam walked in with Crystal, and her smile, could not have been any bigger. She seemed to really like him, and that, in turn, made Scarlett smile. Crystal deserved to be happy, and she only knew of one guy that she had dated since she knew her. He was very sweet, but he had moved away freshmen year. He was a junior, but very sweet.
"Would you like something to drink, Crystal?"
Liam had asked.
"Ya, sure! I'll take a pepsi!"Scarlett looked over to Michael, he was head banging to the music. It was so cute! There was a live band, and over by the stage was Crystal and Liam. He seemed nice, Scarlett thought. Just then Crystal saw her and smiled and made a motion with her hands against her head like an explosion. Meaning, the music was really loud. Scarlett just nodded yup.
Michael really knew how to pick his friends. They definately knew how to have fun. Crystal ran over to her, grabbed her arm, just as they started to play a Nirvana song, (It was just harder than Kurt played it)
and dragged her over by the stage.
Looking around for Michael, he seemed to have disappeared, but just in time for her to hear a familiar ping of harmonics from a guitar on the stage. Michael had jumped up there, (after being asked) and took the lead. He was by far, the most rhythmically talented person she had ever met. The way his fingers flew over the strings, he would put most guitarists to shame, and he loved to do it. Putting his leg up on a speaker, he held the guitar better and just took over the stage. He just dominated it with his awesome talents.
