"Here! Let me Help you."
She ran over to help clean up the glass and food from the floor.
"Cool. Um, thanks?"
She chuckled.
"Its no problem. I have a feeling I am the reason you now need new plates."
He held up a small piece of a plate about 4 inches by 4 inches.
"Nah, I can still use this one a bit longer. Besides, I never wear those shirts. They should be worn. Good choice."

He nodded his head as he continues to clean up the last bit of glass. Scarlett went to find the mop so she can clean it up.
"Do you own a mop?"
"Ew no. Those things do nothing but collect bacteria. I just use rags and wash them when I'm done. There should be some new ones under the sink."
As she did that, she looked behind her for just a second, and he was in fact, staring at her as she walked away.
"So, Scarlett. What are your plans today?"
He said as he stood up with the bag of glass, and headed to the sliding glass door, to take it outside.
"Oh, I don't know, I was thinking maybe Crystal and I would go try to find that nude beach. Do you know where it is?"
She smiled as she asked, she had no real interest in finding it, she just really liked seeing him all frazzled.

And that's when she heard a a door slam. She ran back in there, hoping to see him ok, but he was sitting on the ground on his butt. He had walked into the glass door.

"Oh my gosh, Brian! Are you ok?"
"I will be, if I stop listening to you. And looking at you. You seem to always surprise me. I like that."
He said as he stood up.

"Sorry, I'll stop. I keep getting you hurt. Maybe you have some sweat pants? Like, with a super long tie, so I can make it much smaller?"

He had gone out to the trash can, so she had to yell the last part. He answered her though when he came back in.
"Nope! And even if I did, I probably wouldn't tell you. I like what you're wearing now."
"Oh goodness! I bet my clothes are ready for the dryer. I'll go check."
"No need, I did it while you were in the shower. My washer is quick with small loads. I will however make more food. Want to see more pancake flipping?"
"You know I do."
She laughed.
He loved seeing her laugh. She had the most beautiful smile.
"I like making you smile."
"Well, I like to smile. When I was in middle school, my friends called me 'movie star teeth' because of my smile."

She said while on her hands and knees, cleaning the floor.

"All done!"
She went over to the stove to check out the food and smell it. Closing her eyes, she inhaled the glorious scent of blueberries.
"Oh, my favorite! Those weren't part of the last batch!"
"Nope, I decided to use this as a chance to experiment. I like blueberries so I figured I'd try it. Never made these before."
"Well, I'm excited to try. How long?"
"Well, they are almost ready to flip."
As he said that, he lifted the pan to his left and flipped it, then the one to his right and did the same.
Scarlett clapped.
"Oh goodness! I haven't talked to Crystal since last night! I should call her. Have you seen my phone?"
"No, is it in your purse?"
"I didn't bring my purse."
She looked worried, then kinda felt like a ditz. How could she forget her phone! My goodness. That is really unlike her.
"Can I, uh, use your phone quick?"
"Ya sure."
"Cool. Thanks. Be right back."

She took the phone outside and stood on the beach. She could wear this out there, it's a beach. People will just think it's a bathing suit.

"Crys, hey it's Scarlett."
"What the actual heck! Where are You! You left your phone here by the way."
"Gee, Crystal, ya think? Here I was thinking I was calling from my pretty pink phone... Oh my goodness!"
"Ok ok. I get it. So, where are You?"
"At Brian's. I stayed here last night."
"Oh. Wow. Seriously? He seems like the rough type. Is he the rough type?"
"CRYSTAL!"
