Oh My Goodness!

"Well then. Ok, off to my place we go!"
Scarlett was excited, and  nervous all at the same time. She had no idea what she was doing, or where they were going. So, they just headed out to her house.
His car was pretty basic, as cars went. A 98' Honda Civic. Not her favorite, but it got you from A to B. Silver and pretty but you could tell he wasn't a car kinda guy. He was a surfer. He cared more about the waves and his board. Which was a nice change.

She got in his car and he drove like a grandma. Grandma=speed limit. She preferred to do about 5 over, but that's just her feel of the road. Not all the time, just sometimes.
The ride back to her place took a little longer, since they weren't walking, and the walk wasn't very far. Driving requires stop lights and stop signs and parking etc. But the view was still amazing! It felt as though it took forever, since she looked out her window and was able to enjoy the sights. Each tree was different than the next. Higher than the last, older than the first. Each thing she saw, was like the first time she had seen it, because each object was beautiful in its own way.
Seeing the shore line between buildings as they drove by, each wave different than the next.

When they finally got to the hotel, they went up the elevator, and after knocking for a while, Crystal finally heard her and let them in.

"Hey Scar, what's up?"
"Not much."
She said, as she held Brian's hand and they walked into the hotel room, closing the door behind them.

"Brian is taking me to a surprise thing. He won't tell me, but says it won't be an all day thing so you and I can still do stuff today."
"Cool. Just... don't forget your phone this time."
Crystal said as she laughed.

"Haha." Scarlett said, while closing her door with Brian in there with her.
"What am I wearing?"
"Well, since my shirt is out of the question, I guess jeans and a tank top? With tennis shoes. Something durable."

She knew just the thing. She went through her drawers, and grabbed her faded blue jeans with her lavender tank (ish) top. One of the shoulders hung off the side of her shoulder.
"Is this acceptable?"
"Well, not entirely... But you look too cute to say no, so ya. It's fine. Just, bring a sweater. Like a zip up or pull over."
"But it's so hot out."
"It's for other reasons."
"Oh. Well ok then."
She grabbed her shoes, and sweater and went into her bathroom to change.

After a few minutes, she came out. With her outfit on, and her hair in a ponytail, she was ready for her escapade.
"Ok, well... I'm ready!"
"Finally! Let's go."

She waved to Crystal on her way out, and they held hands on the way down the elevator, and for most of the day actually.

They drove for about 30 minutes, to the other side of the island, before finally stopping at the little airport.
"Are we going somewhere?"
She asked, with a curious look on her face. Clearly she was confused. He said they wouldn't be gone all day.

"Not quite."
He pointed over to the sign on the fence, and she only turned to see what it said.

Sky diving lessons today

She was without words. She had always wanted to go sky diving, but didn't have the guts, or the desire to spend that kind of money.
"I can't afford this!"
"No, but I can."
She glanced at him.
"How's that?"
"Well, I kinda own the airport."

"Oh. My. Gosh."
