Her breath shakes as she again and again listens to your voicemail.
Her heart pounds as she again and again prays that you'll make it through another day.
Her tears fall as she again and again is left helpless on the sidelines.
She would do anything to help you, but you won't let her. Again and again.
Why?

It's like I've been benched in a basketball match. I just watch as you miss shot after shot. I just watch as you take charge after charge and listen to the ref call fouls on you. I yell support at you, I scream for fairness, I beg to be put on the court. No one seems to hear me as I watch the game play you. Nothing seems to change as I watch the numbers stack against you. No time seems to pass at all as I wait for the final whistle to blow. So I watch.
